Politics › Re: You Can’t Intimidate Me, No Other South-South Congress Will Hold – Wike by Dalohad: 11:06pm On Feb 23, 2025
The authentic congress will be conducted in PH in the coming days.

Wike can drown himself in a 2000 year old whiskey after that.

Heaven will not fall.

Wike does play by the rule, I see not reason why Fubara and his political enemies should play by the books.

So you are saying Igbo boys planned and executed a very bloody coup so they can install a Yoruba man as president? Is that how you guys worship Yoruba people?
Ideologies ruled the mental acuity of those soldiers, not tribalism. Go figure.

Watch how they'll rain insults on Reno for speaking the gospel truth.

For Gowon to release Awolowo immediately he took power shows the North knew the injustice the likes of Azikiwe did before the Zik + Balewa romance went sour. Imagine levelling allegations of coup plot against an innocent man just to incarcerate him, only to come back with lies that the people who plotted against him planned coup to free him. C'mon even an infant still sucking the mother's breast won't buy such falsehood.
Reno is simply pressing your mumu button. Have you forgotten how he said that Yoruba was named by the Fulani? Implying that Yorubas are slaves of the Fulanis. grin

Yes, spared in prison. Na everyone you think mumu like una.

They spare him in prison, Ironsi took power and never deem it fit to release him for over 6months until Gowon eventually released the man.

So Ibo go do coup to put Yoruba man in power, even Ojuku will laugh you in his grave.
So who was in charge of the Calabar prison in the Eastern region, and why didn't Ademoyega and co. drag out Awolowo in Calabar prison and kill him?

You no talk about T0to and prick today. My cure dey do wonders. I congratulate you verily. grin

Now to the matter, using fake smileys to deceive yourself no go change facts. IBB has nothing to lose. He is a dying man who has written his book for posterity sake.

He made it clear that the first coup we Yorubas erroneously call 'Ibo coup' was actually an 'An Awolowo coup' and the coup was dissipated by Ibo officers. The Awolowo coup also took the the life of Ibo officers like Col. Unegbe whom we Yorubas love to not mention.

The Awolowo coup (previously called Ibo coup) also had Yoruba officers who were main actors like Maj. Ademoyega, Fola Oyewole, Ganiyu Adeleke etc. Facts that our Yoruba writers at Champion newspapers (now moribund), the Nation newspaper, and PM news always like to downplay..

My brother, you have to die with these facts, so you can die in peace. grin

Let Gowon write his own. May God keep him and his pen alive.

Politics › Re: Babangida's Move Is Towards 2027, His Widow's Mite. by Dalohad: 7:34pm On Feb 23, 2025
Truthcat:
Two things Babangida tried to do is, get ibos to praise him to high heavens and have him as a look-upon for political directives for 2027. The Abiola part is to make a few gullible Yoruba say, "look Babangida is telling the truth" when there has never been a dead or living person who thought Abiola didn't win the election.

I've not seen what Babangida said in his book and I don't really care, I don't expect truth from certain people. If Babangida is now telling us what was never in doubt about the election of 1993, but refused tell us what we want to know about why he annulled the elections, and then added that the infamous ibos coup is no longer so, means he's attention starved and wants to be praised by the usual culprits and stick it to president Tinubu who is their mutual enemy.

Babangida has really said nothing. We know Abiola won the 1993 election and that he annulled it with the help of the ibos. The 1966 coup is an IBO COUP and Babangida knows that, but he wanted to get praises and die as ibos hero , so he gave them what they needed
If he wanted the praises of the Ibos, to what end?

Is he looking to contest presidency?

I thought we all agreed that the Yorubas are more important than the Ibos in Nigeria. Wouldn't it make more sense if he was seeking the praises of we Yorubas than the Ibos?

Something tells me that if Ademoyega had not written about his involvement in the coup, many Yoruba revisionist writers would have craftily removed his name from the list of coup plotters, just the way they removed the name of Lt . Col. Unegbe from the list of those killed in the said 'Ibo coup'.
We Yoruba should always embrace the truth..

Politics › Re: You’re Always Envied,’ Abacha’s Son Defends Late Father Amid Renewed Criticism by Dalohad: 10:16am On Feb 23, 2025
epainos:
The real victims of Nigeria are the Igbos, but they always think they can do "gra gra" to handle everything. I am just smiling here. And the Yoruba people will keep outsmarting them.

Ojukwu was the first person to say that the 1966 coup was meant to install Awolowo as the leader. Lol. And stylishly IBB talked about that area in his book. The thing is that Igbos picked that part, and boom! People have been debating that there is or no Igbo coup. Well, I am not here to argue that, but what I know is that IBB is the main person that weakened the Igbo nation finally, yet, they think he is doing them a favor now. Lol.

The issue now is that Atiku and El-Rufai will pick this up against Tinubu, and hopefully, they will try to romance Obi to join them. The fact is that no matter what they tell Igbo, they will still ask them to be the vice president..lol.

Another view of this issue is that Abacha has been made the scapegoat of all the attrocities committed during IBB's time. That June 12 is the real bone of contention that everyone is talking about, but because it involved a Yoruba man, Igbos are not ready even go down the main issue. Do I blame them? Nope.

Hmmmm. Nigeria is finished. If you have been following my posts, you should by now know that I have been predicting the fall of Nigeria. It is so clear that Igbo and Yoruba cannot coexist in unity in the same nation. For sure, both will not go to war, but they cannot unite. Even Biafra war was more of Igbo Vs the north. Of course, the Yoruba people will always find a way to avoid debating Igbos, but they will act at the right time. This is the reason Igbos keep saying Yorubas are betrayals. Lol. No be to dey beat chests everytime. Therefore, I can beat my chest to say that Yoruba and Igbo cannot get violent with each other. It is not possible.

I foresee IBB creating both an opportunity and a disaster for the north before 2027. And the Tinubu I know will explore the opportunities. Let's see what will happen. Likewise Atiku and ElRufai will explore the opportunities too.

One area everyone agrees is that Abacha is an evil man who has a bad legacy. His son is living in delusion saying history will vindicate his father. History is already messing up the Abacha family. That family is cursed. And to add salt to the injury, IBB has decided to put the whole blame on him even while he is trying to rest in his grave. Can Abacha ever find rest? I doubt it.
Your epistle flies in the face of common sense.

Anyday the north decides that a Scion of Abacha will this country, it will happen. And they will do it without permission from the SW. All they need is just one region from the South.

If we in SW maintained our honour and rinsisted that no General who has ever ruled as military president should be voted as Civilian president. Buhari would never had become president. The rot got to a crescendo with Buhari sailing the wheel of this country.
