CuteMaro: I see nobody has mentioned battery capacity tests done by DIY WITH RAY on tiktok.
The test was conducted between Felicity, Firman and Cworth Batteries all of 10kwh capacity and the test results were quite interesting with the most popular brands failing woefully.
I will suggest people refer to battery capacity tests before recommending any brand. The market is a mess.
Deye has also been done. I just completed for 8kwh 25.6V Haisic.. We are active on Tiktok..
Ayomipoe: Dam5reey is a plug. However, I think if you live in an area where there are wild voltage fluctuations, you'd be better off with a "good" stabilizer as well.

i want to add it to my db )for now until i can lay my hands on a good voltage stabilizer.....it will supply grid to my db and whenever i install my inverter it will be also serve as supply to my inverter input.

Please be informed that this is a Voltage/Current/Delay Protection Device, it does not regulate voltage, Protects from LV or HV.

It catches fire after 2 weeks and the scammed client goes online to say Solaris surge or Dam5reey is the worse solar installer with video proof of his burnt setup and house. A project you knew nothing about oh. Someone recognises the scam and tells the scammed client that the guy who scammed him isn't Dam5reey oh, he scammed you. But clients says I don't care, let the real Dam5reey come and install a new setup in my house for free to save his name. My 6 million is at stake instead of saying, ah, i was scammed by one electrician Femi who isn't Solaris and I'm sorry for spoiling the name of the legit company. I sure you go like am.

You've always said that one day you'll test DIY battery packs of valto and mrreed to confirm the grade A cells they use for their set up . We know they've been tested by them and went above stated ahm capacity. But from a 3rd party will be cool for scientific and fun purpose.
Lastly... That elejoy mppt tester you got is the wrong one. Yours is showing EY1800W with green body outline. Elejoy doesn't produce anything like that. Its a fake knockoff. I saw an American guy testing with same one you have and he tested even when panel was facing down and it gave 500w+ 🤣🤣. You all bought the fake.
Always buy the EY800W that has red body outline. It's the best.

Collione: I want to take this opportunity to appreciate this group in my inverter journey. I love my set up so far. The 10kwh battery is monstrous for my daily usage so much so that I barely consume 10 percent every night with fridge and fan on and the Firman inverter is a champ although I'm still disappointed that it can't communicate via BMS still but I set the parameters as bulk 54.4v and float as 54.0v keeping my battery at 96 percent full charge not 100 though the recommendation is 55.2 bulk and 54.4 float. If anyone is able to communicate Firman with lvtopsun I'd like to hear it as it's important to me. God bless you all for your amazing work

And my lights don’t flicker when i am running inductive load like washing machine (note that its not normal house indoor light, they are smart lights and are connected to capacitors, the capacitors cause the bulbs to flicker when inductive load is running on the sms inverter, but not a single flicker with the deye inverter)

your total load is different from consumption. Consumption is what you need to size.
2.5M will get you 6kva Inverter and 10/15kwh battery... Buy use understand your consumption and size for the panels to take you partly or off Grid.
Shallow cycling sounds safer, but with LiFePO₄, it’s often less efficient over time. If you’re always going from 100% to 80%, you’re aging the battery without getting much out of it. Deeper cycles — like 100% to 20% — may reduce your total cycle count, but they deliver way more usable energy over the long run.
My Cells are almost 4 years and this is the pattern I have been preaching. Me I charge as fast as possible and to Voltage that get my cells balanced. 100-20% on point, see attached is 30 days pattern, mostly charged and discharged to 20% range and cycles continues. My Cells already Paid themselve and I still have as much as 95% capacity.

Time for installation, I reached out to the installer who had first given me a quote that I had procured the main things myself. Now he sent me a new quote with some things added which weren't in the first quote. Please could anyone help me go over this quote if it's proper?
