Hi guys, I'm interested in starting an export business and I found this thread very helpful. Someone suggested I start small by buying products from local farmers and selling to exporters. So I'll basically be a middle man until I get a hang of things. I got the contact of a farmer in the north and he said he will sell a bag of cashew for 50k. No clue how many kgs make up that bag though. Any help on how I can contact local farmers for their products ? Or any advice on steps I can take to start ?

Don't buy per bag agree on per kg

Bag KGS are not same, some bags contains 130,128k and some are less than that

But in lafia , they don't sun dry and thats the only difference there


When we first visit Lafia with my boss

We do some testing and some little calculation and we later discovered, its a wise decision to buy from Lafia

We buy at good price , we then sorted it and my boss was very happy with the turnout

Its just a secret.I don't think Lafia cashew is as Bad as people make it look

Cashew is all about sort, you buy at cheap then sort it and believe me you will love the result
