Well, this year they've come back with something new — and they've also returned much richer. See, between CES 2015 and today, Jide created a Kickstarter campaign for the Remix Mini, a $70 device that can run Android on any screen with an HDMI input. It took in $1.6 million. But this isn't plain Android on a plastic box; instead, it's Remix OS, a customized fork of the software that looks more like Windows or Chrome OS than it does Android. There's a start menu. You can swipe in from the right side for a notification tray a la Windows 10 and OS X. You can right click! Everything very much feels like a desktop atmosphere, and you can run apps in individual windows or fullscreen. Those are Android apps, remember, so everything from Instagram to Microsoft Word to Facebook to Modern Combat 5 works with Remix OS. If you're running them on the Remix Mini, eventually you might run into the limits of its low-end hardware. It's $70, after all. For free. You can download a system image from the company and toss it onto a USB 3.0 stick, or there's also the option of making a partition on your computer for a more permanent partition. I simply booted off the SanDisk flash drive they gave me, and within a couple minutes, I was at the Remix OS home screen. It'll take more time for me to determine whether or not I'd ever consider using this regularly. Even now, my Chromebook rarely gets any use. It's basically an internet device that lives on my couch. But in a way, maybe this is what Chrome OS should be. Or, it's definitely what some people hoped it would become; a productivity-focused take on Android that runs Android apps like they're desktop apps. Done. Even better, the Jide team is committed to updating the OS constantly. We might've chastised these ex-Googlers for what they showed last year. But at this CES? I think I'm pretty into what they're doing. Source: http://www.gdevit.com/topic124/remix-os-the-android-operating-system-for-desktop |

Oh yeah, I'm back. It's been a really long while I actually made a post here, been busy with some stuffs though but I'm back and oh lest I forget (Happy New Year). So back to the topic. Here's another amazing technology to be launched later this year, though I came across this a bit late before I made a list of the tech gadgets/inventions I'm really anxious to see this year. This, I added to my list instantly. https://s18.postimg.org/r8zvghrop/cicret.png I'll call it a smart bracelet which projects a full, working, internet powered android device on your arm. You can perform all of the activities you practice daily on your "normal" Smartphone with it, except making phone calls I guess(You'll need to pair your phone with the bracelet). How it works? The cicret bracelet has a project and 8 proximity sensors, once you place your finger on the project interface, you stop one of the proximity sensors. The sensor then sends back the information to the processor in the bracelet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J7GpVQCfms source: http://www.gdevit.com/topic114/cicret-bracelet-an-android-tab-on-your-skin |

The Ferrari 458 Spider is the convertible version of Ferrari’s most popular supercar. The car, which has got considerable attention on social media, belongs to undefeated world kickboxing champion Riyadh Al Azzawi from Iraq – who has held his crown since 2008 with 47 wins from 47 bouts. Al Azzawi, who was training at the nearby LA Fitness gym, has been Arab champion twice, UK champion twice and European champion on his way to becoming the reigning world champion. http://gistvibes.com/forum2_theme_112134999.xhtml?tema=13&omg-see-330-000-golden-car |

I see this question sometimes on my facebook timeline and majority of the people choose "Heart": Which part of the body organ never rest? A) Eye B) Nose C) Heart D) Brain E) Ear Here's my thesis: w You hear of heart faliure? people holding their breath? people blind, and people deaf, but once your brain rests for one second you might/would be unconcious or die.. the brain is what tells all the organs in your body what to do. that includes, sleeping, heartbeat, breathing seeing, walking, talking, eating, dreaming and everything. most people think when you sleep your brain rests... lol if your brain rests, then what tells you to wake up? your heart? if your brain rests, why do you dream? well this question doesn't have one answer, so the nose and heart also does not rest, but you have to know that the last thing to rest in a human body is the brain (you stop breathing, your heart stops pumping blood to the brain and the brain takes about 10mins to completely die after you are in coma = death.) source: http://gdevit.com/forum2_theme_111901284.xhtml?tema=8 |
