Oba Akinolu may not be right on this but the attitude of our Igbo brothers and sisters could frustrate one.

Having helped them more than what their region has done for them, instead of being grateful; their actions seem to be undermining the essence of our existence through their incendiary statements. Calling their hosts cowards- what do you want after that-fight to show we are not cowards.

Oba Akinolu is their match and that is why the situation seems difficult now.

A gentle king could be disobeyed easily but did they say anything at the palace? No. They dare not.

It was after leaving the palace that chest beating, ultimatum , etc started surfacing.

Who then is the cowards? Ta lo fe gbenan woju ekun lai f'eje we ( who wants to put light at the face of a tiger without being bathed with blood)

Remember, 'He who makes peaceful resolution difficult , has made violence inevitable.'

Winding down on life's lessons for me and you from our just concluded race for the next president is the fact that public apathy, slander, bad-mouthing and scheming are not strong enough as reasons to prevent us from reaching our goals iin grand style.  

The loud noises that empty barrels make are seldomly fired into the thin air, very often they are aimed at the reputation of those who have the substance that they envy.

All the noise PDP is making, trying to slander the good name of Mr Akinwunmi Ambode will get them NO WHERE!!!!

A common sign that you are headed for somewhat purposeful is the particularly distasteful tales which many would itchingly tell about you.  

The amebor  missiles range from petty ear tingling, exaggerated truths to fabricated lies that slander and smear your reputation.

While the one party on one hand was scoffing with the use of documentaries, allegations of ill health, no education, baseless fraud allegations, name calling etc.

The attacked did not go on howling stones at every barking distraction. Neither did self defence become a prioritiized preoccupation. The singular armor was focus as he steadily kept his few words dedicated to the business at hand, what he would do with the office. 

The same populace who were entertained by the political telemundu‎ picked the one who was ill spoken about. 

Does frustration easily set in when lies start flying about you? Have you bowed your head or bowed out of a pursuit for the sake of what is being said or who is saying it? It is time to pick it right back up and go mute & deaf on hear say. 

God's own advice :"Also do not take to heart every word that people say; ‎otherwise, you may hear your servant calling down evil on‎‎ you‎" Eccl 7:21 

Please extract the core lesson. Let nothing fabricated or spoken deter your focus from living a happy life and touching all your dreams....

Rochas Okorocha is accusing the Igbo Nation of myopia but his argument is in fact coated and covered with the very myopia he accuses his people off!

Rochas' only regrets is that we have no ranking Senator under APC to make Senate President from the South East. If the APC truly want to be inclusive they can elect Ike Ekweremadu or any PDP Senator from the East as the Senate President. The ruling party can back a member of another party to emerge the Senate President! If what this truly is about is inclusiveness!

You get the sense that what is at play here is not a quest to include Igbos but a childish attempt to win votes. Its all about April 11.

Need I remind Okorocha that in this 4th republic, we have had a few Senate Presidents. From Wagbara to Okadigbo to Anyim to Enwerem! Our aspiration as Igbos in Nigeria should be a little bit more sophisticated than just producing a Senate President. The Senate President is one man! amongst million of Igbos. The notion that all we should want as a people is to make one man Senate President is indeed myopic!

There was a Confab report that would have redefined what it means to be a modern Nigerian, where we had the debate about devolution of power and true federalism. The relationship between the State vs Individual. Implementing that report will change the lives of all Nigerians including ALL Igbos! Jonathan promised to implement the recommendations of that Report. APC refused to participate in the excersize. And have not pledged to implement the recommendations of that report. This for me is why APC has no place in Igbo land.

The truth is Rochas Okorocha is not worried about Igbos and we know this. Rochas is worried about Rochas political future and winning the next election in a weeks time. His betrayal of the trust of Imo State people will be punished at the polls on April 11.

Finally Nigeria needs a strong PDP. Nigeria needs a strong opposition party. Ndigbo need a strong PDP. The welfare state that Buhari and his APC are promising can not be sustained without a tax hike on small businesses and traders. We have seen this kind of attitude in Lagos and they will try to bring that to the Center. Ndigbo need a PDP that can provide an alternative platform to challenge the tax and spend policies of APC that may punish entrepreneurs and hardworking Nigerians!
