Where did you check the percentage? coz I didn’t get anything like that in the mail they sent
Abkhmbbs:

Sorry about that. I know what you mean. I used 2 emails and trial and error to see what I was doing wrong. Eventually got 65%.I'm on to the offline test now. Just need to get my PayPal issue sorted. Rev is crazy, man. I did it perfectly. Just told me I didn't get in. Just imagine. Will try again, though.

We move bro
Pareidolia:
Bad day with qa over here. Picked my sweetest call today. On the 48th statement( which was two away from the last), MTN decided to mess it up. Connection was lost. Tried refreshing the page and it started all over( still confused because I saved it). I immediately switched to 9mobile to avoid further disappointments since I had about 15mins left and already knew what to transcribe.

6mins to the end, phone went off!!!( forgotten I had set it on auto off by that time)

We march on embarassed
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by damilare96(m): 7:39pm On Sep 07, 2019
Why are some people so stupid and selfish
Part of Reasons nigeria won’t grow
hausadreturn:
So, a Nigerian said on Slack, "the rate at which new members join QA world is alarming"...
And then recommdeded that QA world should do something or stop recruiting for now.

I have a feeling that person is new.
Can you imagine having the rare opportunity to work in QA, and then recommending that they should stop recruitment for now?

As hilarious as it sounds, that was really over-reaching.
C'mon!!!

Inaudible, faq.
Specific addresses, Faq.

On your free time, you can read the pages on the thread. No go kill yourself dey read everything under a day.
Maybe 5 pages today, 5 tomorrow, 10 next tomorrow, etc. If you have the time.
I for say make you invest on a quality earpiece, but then, the many people wey dey this thread, wey dey work for QA, aren't necessarily using one. Yet, dem dey make am.

Thnaks bro
I always go through the FAQ time to time
But why is it hard for customers to talk loud ?
SUPERPACK:
You added alot of ,.; in your work.DO NOT transcribe the following as these are considered Restricted Personal Information and should be
replaced instead with [/]:

can be transcribed if stand-alone)

complete or just a portion of it)
-ALL Social Security Numbers (whether complete or just a portion of it)
-ALL passwords including hints or clues (whether complete or just a portion of it; one-time PINs and codes
are allowed)
-ALL answers to security questions.also your are nt allowed to type a customers full home address, just use [/] when such address is mentioned.
.
Please take note that we are allowed only ONE [...] for every 2min 30secs (02:30)
audio (or TWO for every 5min audio). NO inaudible for audios under 2min 30secs. Exceeding beyond
the allowed number of inaudibles will be considered a markdown (especially if the audio is actually clear).

I’m in i used this for the test
Thanks guys
thorrvik55:

If you've applied before and you failed the transcription test, to apply again u need to use a new email. Once u apply again and u are directed to where u will take the test, simply refresh ur browser continuously till u see clip 6 (the test audio). Then copy and paste the quoted text above and submit.

N.B: Passing the transcription test is the easiest part
