Guinea Bissau national team has released there final squad for the upcoming afcon in January. The list consist of 25 players no local players from there league was included in the list . 3 Goal Keeper, 8 Defender, 6midfieder and 8 forwards for the tournament in ivory coast.



They group along side the super eagles of Nigeria in group A of the afcon tournament.

Equaterial Guinea will play a friendly match against indomitable Lion of Cameroon January 8

Base on match schedule for the afcon tournament in January. If the super eagles finished first in group A ahead of the host national they will play the 3rd best team in group D. But if the super eagles finished Second they will play the second best team in group c where we have Cameroon, Senegal, Guinea and Gambia . If the super eagles finished 3rd in there group they will likely face the 1st position in group B or C base on caf match schedule for round of 16 For the upcoming afcon tournament in ivory coast

Victor Osmihen will play at list 3 more matches for SS Napoli before the afcon in January. I pray he stay fit no injury worries.

The Serie A won't be going on a winter break this year. Looking at Napoli's fixture, they have 3 more games to play until Osimhen can be released for the AFCON..
I hope Osimhen stay fit.. he needs to be there.. He is yet to lead the charge for us at a major tournament.

I pray so He stay injury Free and lead the attack of the super eagles at afcon. Victor Osmihen will be instrumental in our charges to win the fourth afcon is presence alone will give fear into the opposition team at afcon

Osimhen looked fit yesterday when he came off, must have been a slight knock and was taken off for precautionary reasons but there's not enough evidence to suggest he won't make the AFCON until we see an official statement from his medical team.

Victor Osmihen is how hope lifting that trophy comes January he be crucial for us in the afcon with Boniface in front of goal. I pray the coach don't stick with basket Uzohole as our number 1 goal keeper going to afcon in January

Yes you are right Mikel,Moses and Enyeama.and we saw Emenike/Ideye super combo....unknown Mba came from no where...Oboboana and Omeruo the two rookies pushed Yobo to the bench...Onazi worked his socks off for the team.

Yes we have players but do we have a team?hope Peseiro raise his tactical knowhow and gives us balance team.

my only fear heading to afcon is The Goal keeping position
And injury to our key players. Am sure the eagles will raise there game in the tournament proper . If Francis Uzoho should be our first choice goal keeper at the tournament then I will reduce my expectations on them

don't write off the super eagles in this upcoming afcon . The super eagles team tend to do better when you underrate them most especially when they are in the same group with the host of the tournament. 2013 super eagles team squad that won the afcon last for Nigeria has no individual quality compare to this current super eagles squad. Apart from Vincent Enyeama, John Mikel and Victor Moses in that super eagles squad that won the afcon in 2023

Sporting Lagos goal keeper Nwoke has been included in the super eagles provisional list for Afcon in January with Kelechi Nwakali

Good news Francis Uzoho may not be our first choice goal keeper heading to afcon in January, in a meeting with Sport Minister today with Jose Pasiero revealed that he has hold talks with a new goal keeper yet to be name to resolve the goal keeping issue ahead of the afcon. Good news I guess the keeper is an home base goal keeper
