SARS was Scrapped after People Protested against them due to there unacceptable Attitudes, Extortion and In-Inhumane activities..................

I do not know the reason NURTW/RTEAN ,Agberos Unions remains Unstoppable ...SARS is a Government Institution ...NURTW/RTEAN is a Registered one and not a Government Institution.if SARS could be scrapped why not NURTW/RTEAN Agberos.
These Union Collect lots of money from Transporters which affect the Transport fare the Commuters pay on Daily Basis ,Very Disheartening that a Transporter with Tricycle ( Marwa) would pay close to 3000 Daily to these Union ....... Others Vehicles pay more .

No one is talking about this ,It's affecting so many Nigerians ,It's not everyone that owns a Personal car ,NURTW/RTEAN Agberos sometimes forcefully collects these money and they resort to Beating any Transporter that Refused to pay ,Police , Military won't even do anything if they are Present at the Scene .These NURTW/RTEAN Agberos are So Confident that they are never afriad of any one ...


They Collects huge money Daily yet they don't Use the money to do anything ,Go to the Parks they collect the money and see how Dirty ,How Dilapidated it is ,The Roads the transporters plies are Terrible ,Not even a gesture to Grade or fill the Pot Holes .

They live extravagant lives ,Ride exotic Cars ,Constitutes Nuisance . When it's time for Elections they Form the highest numbers of Thugery ..... NURTW/RTEAN Agberos Should be Protested against by Nigerians as a Whole ,These Union are not Contributing anything to our Society rather they contribute to the suffering of the masses by Collecting Unnecessary money from them ,That is Extortion ....


If the Government can Establish a Unit ,Print a Ticket for just 50 Naira to 100 naira for Transporters daily and scrapped these Extortionist called NURTW/RTEAN Agberos Such funds can be used to maintain the roads ,Pay Salaries to people employed and Return Sanity to our Roads ...
These NURTW/RTEAN Agberos have Frustrated so many Nigerians out of Transportation Business because of there huge daily Money Collection .
In the Past some Governor's took a bold step to stop there Nefarious Activities . If they are Registered Union and so what ? It's the Government that Registered them ,SARS was more firm than them ,It was Scrapped ,NURTW/RTEAN Agberos. Should be Scrapped. Let there be a Protest to stop them #scrapNURTW/RTEAN Agberos.

TBH, hustling with car is better (Uber ) when I was into the business full time I actually wanted to get a car and start the Uber stuffs atlst to cut away the agbero people but damn I was just fed up with the driving thing.

Yes manual is more expensive and I will advise anyone who want to venture into such to go for manual because auto gives headache. Turbo is a kind of engine and it runs faster than the normal belt or chain engine. Turbo has speed but it makes the bus smoke faster and hence different problems

Yes there are mechanics who are so specialised in fixing korope as well as rewires . Those bad ones really dealt with me but thank God he came to my rescue .

My take, driving korope is not a too good idea and for your brother you can help him get a skill and with time he will be making money frm it with peace of mind .

That was my escape route I learnt a skill and I'm picking up and I av peace of mind. Sincerely I still use the korope to work but it's just for chatter or I drive it to work and pick passengers early in the morning and late in the evening and I still make some token .

You are a Man with good heart at least for sharing an experience so others could Learn ...Actually when I saw the thread I decided to Learn as well because I have a Junior one too who have been Unemployed for so long ,Manages a Teaching Job with a very Low Income...and I have been Contemplating on venturing into that as well .He can drive well and he has been using my Car during weekends to Hustle .Back to some Points U made ....1 : Traffic : How about Plying a well Tared Road Routes with Very Low Traffic Tendencies....2: Automatic Turbo ...What do you mean by this ? I found out that Manual are more Expensive than Automatic why is this so ,Automatic Vehicles should be more Expensive but in the case of Korope it seems not to be so . Probably Automatic are not as strong as Manual ,My thought though ....3: Good Mechanic : Are there Special Mechanic For Korope ? I anticipate your further brotherly Advise

. @ op the main purpose of your thread is to know which one ,Korope or Marwa is Better to buy for Transportation .To me I will advise you go for Mini Bus called Korope ...That Aside ...Bear in Mind that there is no Business full of bed of Roses ,No single Business in the World ,No matter how Attractive ,Easy ,Profit it could be ...Every business comes with a Risk and Challenges ,Do not be deceived by anyone ,Risk and Challenges can be different .Even the Man sitting in the Comfort of His Air-conditioned office just using only Pen has His own Administrative Challenges .I have seen some People Goes onto Transportation Business ,Drives Korope or Marwa themselves and made good savings ,Even built a House ,I have as well seen some spend money on Runs Girl ,Patronises bear Parlours and live Irresponsible Lives no Savings ...The Key word is remain Focused ,Thank God You said you are Setting something up for your Skill meaning you may not spend so many Years in the Transport Business .Good- Luck .

It's just illiteracy or lack of knowledge that is disturbing some people. BTW it is the same marriage certificate that you get in church for Christian marriage (if your church is registered) that you will get at the registry for a court marriage. Even a traditional marriage can be regularised and recognised by law. A marriage certificate from the courts will not prevent a woman from being thrown out empty handed esp in Nigeria. However its only a heartless man that will kick out his wife without commensurate compensation. Truth is most women that want a registry wedding also want a big church and traditional wedding .. Best way out is to ask her to pick 2 only out of the 3 and promise to stick to those 2, then you ll see that she ll drop the idea of a court marriage which is actually the cheapest and most recognised.

You should have read my post with understanding and I started with my extended family and friends and Yes the people I move with do not take such for granted. Never. So yes its non negotiable for us.

So what do you present as proof of marriage when you need to prove you are married

Did you at least register the trad marriage with the local govt and get a paper for it.

If you read my post well you will notice the point of view I am coming from which is - documentation, how on earth will someone get married and it won't be documented in this day and age? It doesn't make sense.

Hope you know that the church marriage you are talking about in the OP issues the same certificate with the court if the church is registered.

I know how many times I have had to present my wedding certificate ( govt issued) for one thing or the other what if I didn't have one.
