I was awarded this scholarship though lss 2014/2015.. i was supposed to be paid 4 times according to award letter but i was paid twice since then stories upon stories by ptdf. Does other awardees i mean oss also complained the same thing, at a point in time they were stranded over there. I also believ many sets are havin one issue or the other. Ptdf is been manipulated by government officials in that ministry. If any who is an awardee have any staff Number i can talk with based on my remainin payment should please help. Ptdf would have been the best but it is highly manipulated when it comes to payment.

Please how much were you paid in those occasions, was it MSc or PhD?

Selection Process, Criteria & Requirements
PTDF scholarships are highly competitive and only candidates who are outstanding across the board are selected. A selection committee will be constituted to assess applications using the following criteria;
Academic merit as evidenced by quality of degrees, full academic transcripts, other professional qualifications acquired, and relevant publications to be referenced by applicant (PhD applicants only)
Membership of professional bodies
The viability of the study/research plan.
Applicants are required to make a case for their scholarship by submitting a statement of purpose (maximum 500 words) stating the reason(s) they want to undertake the study, the relevance of the proposed study to the industry and its expected impact on national development.
Requirements
MSc
1. A minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) qualification in their first degree or a Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience
2. Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
3. Must be computer literate
4. Possession of 5 O/level credits including English Language.
PhD
1. Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
2. Must be computer literate
3. A minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) in their first degree and a good second degree certificate;
4. Must submit a research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry (of not more than 5 pages) to include: Topic, introduction, objective, methodology and mode of data collection;
5. Applicants must also include their masters degree project
Requirements Documents
Applicants are advised to scan copies of the following documents and attach to their online application forms:
1. First Degree Certificate or Statement of Result
2. NYSC discharge certificate
3. WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO results as well as the PIN numbers on the application forms to enable PTDF view the O’level results on the relevant website).
4. Recent Passport Photograph
5. Local Government Identification Letter
6. Master’s Degree Certificate (PhD Applicants only)
7. Evidence of membership of professional associations
*Candidates who successfully scale through the first round of screening will be requested to submit their transcripts; all applicants are therefore advised to prepare their transcripts for submission in anticipation of such a request.

If it will cost you less getting it in the city compared to buying from Obajana, please go ahead and buy in Osogbo. After all we do business to maximize profit but in due time when u expand, u might want to reason why the wholesaler in Osogbo buys from Obajana direct. Wish you the best

nice one, no amount is too small to start. My advise is try to make contact with people building close by, reduce the selling price at most #50 compare to what people around you are selling and be more nice to customers

travel to obajana in kogi state where Dangote makes cement, make enquiry on how to purchase and get supply, open a store in a developing area where you stay, sell cement and other building materials as well. Hey you need only 1.5m or better still start with 1m, when you see progress increase your capital base. Thank me later

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Usani, has ordered the
immediate suspension of the Niger Delta Development Commission,
NDDC’s scholarship programme.
The NDDC won’t offer any new scholarship until the commission
clears the backlog of payment meant for the old beneficiaries, the
Ministry of Niger Delta said Wednesday on Twitter.
There have been protests from several post-graduate Nigerian
students abroad who said that the NDDC refused to fund its
scholarship scheme, thereby forcing them to go through shameful
hardship on foreign lands.
Those affected are said to be 15 students doing their Master’s
degree and 40 Ph.D. students.
Some of the Ph.D. students have not received money meant for their
tuition and upkeep for more than one year now.
The NDDC international scholarship is worth about $30,000 annually.
Those doing Masters’ degree are expected to spend only one year
on it, while the Ph.D. is expected to last for three years.
PREMIUM TIMES in July published a touching story of Maryleen
Ndubuaku , one of the beneficiaries of the NDDC scholarship, who
couldn’t concentrate on her M.Sc. programme on Embedded
Microelectronics and Wireless Systems, at the Coventry University,
UK, because she didn’t have money to feed herself.
Ms. Ndubuaku, from a middle-income family in Imo State, said she
resorted to borrowing money countless times since she couldn’t do
a part-time job because of the demands of her study.
“As I write to you, my exams are commencing next week but I
cannot help but think about how to pay my rent for the month of
May; because it is she who has shelter and food that thinks of
writing exams,” she said to Nsima Ekere, the Managing Director of
NDDC, in one of her letters of appeal.

how does sharing info here fasten or make ptdf conduct induction for LSS?... no one created a WhatsApp group for selfish interest and perhaps the link was made public here, it was created to ease communication esp for those who maybe to busy to enter nland, easy to read a pop message on WhatsApp.... what info do you need here or u just want to rob it on faces of those who were not awarded?
