Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State says the state government has earmarked N9 billion for the construction of a three-level interchange road project to be named after President Muhammadu Buhari.

Eleven African countries have validated the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement implementation strategies, according to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).

Mrs. Vera Songwe, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary, UNECA, said this in her opening statement at the 39th session of the Committee of Experts on Wednesday.

A 21-year-old Nigerian woman, who’s simply identified as Itunu, has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment after being set up by the police.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), says it has destroyed counterfeit medical products worth billions of naira in Kano and Anambra states.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) believes it is unlikely the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) will come to an end by the end of 2021.
