Nigerian Embassy in Germany, has suspended a senior security staff who allegedly solicited sex from a woman in exchange for the renewal of her passport. While disclosing this development, the embassy, in a statement made available to members of the public, said the staff works in its security unit and cannot be named for legal reasons. Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, on Tuesday, presented the 2021 budget of N112.92billion to the state House of Assembly for approval. Atlantique Marine Engineering Services (AMES), says it has secured the Federal Government’s approval to promote Edo Inland Dry port as a port of origin and destination. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has accused #EndSARS protesters whose bank accounts have been frozen, of terrorism. Newsrand had reported that the apex bank froze no fewer than 20 protesters’ bank accounts after securing an order to do so from Justice Ahmed Mohammed of a Federal High Court in Abuja. The Defence Headquarters says the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole, has neutralized several terrorists of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) in airstrikes at Tumbun Allura in Borno. The Federal Government (FG) has again attacked the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) over the lingering industrial action. Recall that ASUU had since February 2020, began an indefinite strike in a bid to force the FG to implement its agreements with the lecturers and protest against the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS), which it said is not transparent. Residents of Ketu, Mile 12, and Owode, areas of Lagos State, have protested the clash between cultists in their communities.
