And, after this application, I do not need another student health insurance, right?

I didn't get a Tax ID stuff, maybe someone else can guide you. I don't think where the country account matters but I used family as source.

I have uploaded everything except the block account proof and heath insurance, I’m waiting to move to the document review stage before I would then do those ones. Atleast that’s what I understand from this thread

I think you have to submit all the mandatory documents before they let you pass the document review stage.

You know the health insurance is on the additional documents part (you can bring it later during the interview) but the proof of financial support document is compulsory.

when did you register on the portal. I’m asking because I want to get a rough idea of what the timeline for mine would be. I registered sometime mid February and I’m yet to be contacted.

Opened up my Expatrio account, awaiting approval but I have already gotten an email for health insurance. I am in the stage of submitting supporting documents.

For School reports, I am thinking primary school testimonial, primary school testimonial and WAEC result.

For University degree does the school certificate suffice or I have to also add a transcript?

Because each tab supports uploading one document, do I merge everything for each tab as one document and upload it? or do I upload one there and the rest to Other Documents tab?

You can take your health insurance on that day of appointment or do it and upload.

It's preferred to have a reference in Germany. If you don't have, you can use an establishment here in Nigeria. They need it to confirm some details if needs be

I have a reference in Germany already, but I haven't done the blocked account yet. I can do that some days to the visa appointment right?

The visa is just on my passport, i did it out of curiosity but i belive nigerians applying form nigeria huddle is appointment date. German consular were extra ordinarynice when i applied here , they double check my documents and point out what is needed. Infact it was via email they responded that it has been approved

True, most of the hurdles when it comes to applying for visa is being in Nigeria and applying for it. People who relocate find it very easy to get visas when they apply.


I would like to ask some questions to everyone here:

1. Filling employment under "Purpose of stay in the Federal Republic of Germany" - This is accurate right?

2. Also the reference part, can it be anybody? What is better, reference person or Educational establishment/company/organisation? Does the reference person have to physically do anything?

3. What are your means of support in the Federal Republic of Germany - filling Blocked Account is okay?

4. Has a formal declaration of commitment been completed - No.

5. Do you have health insurance (for a longer stay) for the Federal Republic of Germany - I am to get health insurance before applying? What are the options?

Hello and thanks to you all for making and contributing to this thread. This is something I am considering and I want to go for it.

The online portal says this;

"The German Mission is currently very busy
The estimated waiting time is: approx. 2-6 months."


As ZAB (My university and and degree are both listed but the degree isn't listed under my university) takes about 4 months now, do I wait to have it before I upload my supporting documents or can I submit my visa application and then submit the individual Certificate Evaluation by ZAB later?

The portal says I fulfil the requirement based on the questionnaire I filled out. I have a Computer Science degree and about 5 years of working experience. Is there anything I should have in mind?

Why do I want to sell it: I wasn't aware of the HESP lineup before I purchased the HYP model. The HESP comes with dual MPPT, so I want to get that, so I can have more PV production. So I want to get the HESP4860S100-H (6kva 48v).

I haven't used it yet because I have a 24v setup and I have been waiting for batteries I ordered from China to arrive, before I can upgrade to the 48v system.

It comes with two months warranty.

Ask for favour gate at ikoku . A logistics company. They can help you . They are in alaba market. It won't cost you 100k to move all ur stuff to Port Harcourt with them.
