Do your research very well. More people are being educated day in day out and they are surpassing the issues of fraud. Do you believe with me that knowlegde is power? If you do with the rate at which people are being educated through social media there will be tremendous decrease in crime rate.

Social media is propagated to be platform where we can easily communicate with our friends; but it has overtime, proven to be nothing more than narcissism tool. Social networking sites are growing daily in number and popularity, but they are really destroying our natural and healthy interpersonal relationships and fostering ignorance of the 'real' human condition. Although the social media enables us to have a swift and cheap connection with our friends; but the damage it is has done to our social life is far more than the benefit it poses. Social media has made us lost touch with our real interpersonal relationship and subjected us to a lot of social problems. It has utterly destroyed our social fabrics and altered our behaviour and perspectives on what is culturally relevant and perhaps most importantly, how we view each other as social system.

don't you love it when you are in touch with your old friend through the social network? do you have the time to call all your old friends? or fonyou want to call them with the phone one by one? Social media has helped us get in touch with many of our old friends and these has help us a lot I hope you will believe with me that the advantages of using this social media on you friends is too many. OSOGBO—Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola
has dared the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in
the state to go ahead and make public his assets.
The party had said that the governor should
declare his assets publicly without delay or it will
be forced to publish what it knows about his
alleged massive wealth.

SDP described Aregbesola’s defence on how he
spent several billions of the state funds as a mere
rhetoric, laughable and inconsistent going by the
facts in its possession.
The SDP said it has conducted its private
investigations and discovered how the governor
allegedly acquired enormous assets in the last
four years in a state where millions are living in
abject poverty.

The Chairman of the party, Mr. Ademola Ishola in
his speech during the party’s Performance
Assessment meeting held in Osogbo at the
weekend to deliberate on how SDP performed in
the last National Election said what his party
uncovered about Aregbesola’s wealth would stun
Nigerians.


But Aregbesola in a statement by Semiu
Okanlawon, Director, Bureau of Communication
and Strategy, Office of the Governor, Osogbo,
stated that SDP was looking for things to hold on
to ”so as to be relevant”.
The statement read in part: “Our attention has
been drawn to a statement said to have been
issued by the Social Democratic Party in Osun
where it asked the Governor of Osun Ogbeni Rauf
Aregbesola to publicly declare his assets.
“The SDP is obviously looking for things to hold
on to in order to be relevant for the party was not
the one that asked Aregbesola to fulfil the
constitutional duty of declaring his assets before
and after his first term”

My final comment for the rebuttal ........

It is very bad that we have leaders who are so self centered leaving the poor to do things against their will, just to have a means of survival. I can't imagine someone accepting cups of rice from a politician when I believe he ought to have bags of rice at home. This is where our leaders have made most followers to be. I pray that this regime we expecting to change in our government, will not fail us.

Why should they accept it? Like I said it my essay, it takes two to tango. Without the cooperation of the followers, the leaders will find it hard to be corrupt.

they will accept it simply because corrupt leaders have made life miserable for them. and they will certainly do anything to cajole them to vote for them. So I can actually say that they took advantage of them to get their votes

Having a bad leader should be a sort of motivation to challenge for leadership, so that you can change things. A good example is that of our President Buhari.

Buhari is a good example of a leader because he refused to be lead by corrupt leaders before him. So it was simply a state of mind. I can make up my mind today not to be intimidated by the irrational decisions of our leaders but to make that change that everybody want. So President buhari simply was not intimated by previous corrupt leaders. that is why we want him to bring change to this country. because we know that almost all our leaders are corrupt

The evil deeds they harbour in their minds was because of what they have seen other leaders doing and they intend to do worse than them so it was the works of those leaders that made them to harbour these thoughts in their mind.

Yes,it started from the leader because they are the one that first made it known to the public but if we trace it further down to what triggered or made den exhibit corruption we would find out that the followers are the cause of it all.

And besides most followers tend to frustrate their leaders making them do things that they ordinarily would not venture into.

When this leaders brings corrupt practices then the followers are meant to agree to it and they themselves will do worse when the eventually become leaders someday. There are leaders even before you were born and there will still be leaders even when you have kicked the bucket. Most Leaders foster the activities of corrupt practices. you will certainly meet people that will rule over you so it depends on the rule if those people that will enable a follower to take over their footprint.

A friend of mine use to tell me that 90% of Nigerians will act corruptly if given the opportunity, even the ones that criticize the government the most. Take a look around you; your everyday activities, the people you meet, the deals you get involved in. The things you have seen or heard; ranging from policemen taking bribes, the market women that reduce the size of their measuring device to make extra profit, the lecturers that take bribes and, to the students that give it, the admission process in our tertiary institutions, the people that are in charge of contracts, employment, West Africa Examination Council "miracle" centres, oil subsidy scam, ghost workers, pension scam, and so on. Are we not worse than our leaders?

I love your examples but do you know that if we have good leaders all these act won't be happening?

You are funny, even my 7 years old nephew knows that cheating is wrong. And are you saying that a parent that pays huge amount of money for their offspring to cheat their way to pass an exam doesn't know it is wrong?

My friend any parent that pays money for a child to pass their exams are only fostering that child to exhibit more. Had it been that parent did not pay the money for their ward to pass their exams then I am definitely sure that the corrupt practices that child will exhibit will be minima. So every child knows that cheating is bad so does it give him the temerity to involve in such act?

you know that fire will burn your skin and your parent asked you do to so. will you do it? if you put your hand in it then you are on your own. and you will acquire the effect more.
