Hello all. I had my TB test, and the x-ray wasn't clear so I had to do sputum test; the result of which is due in 8 weeks. The issue now is my course starts in 5-and-a-half weeks. Does anyone know if the UKBA still considers applications made after the proposed course start date has elapsed? Or do I just settle for deferral till next year? :/

You can only enter before 6th if you have a valid visitor's visa. When is your proposed course start date?

tobee: Hello house, pls has anyone been to IOM this August for Tb screening. How much did u pay in Naira? I know it is $130 for adults and $52 for children under 11. The last time I called, I was told the rate changes every month, that I should confirm before paying this month. I ve been calling them all day without response.

Depends on the school. For most schools, yes. For others, like UCL, no! It depends on what you find in your CAS though or the school's website.

Just received a mail that my application has been approved and my visa issued about an hour ago... I'm just so happy because to be honest, I kinda had some doubts about the application thing which was the final hurdle in the journey to studying in the UK... Still can't believe it..

I tried to find the link we had the discussion but could not get the link. it was about my cancelled visa at the uk port of entry and how later i
left there voluntarily.
I have applied, went for the interview and to God be the glory i was issued the student visa .
I just collected it this morning, My joy knew no bounds when i opened it . i dont know how to thank you but God almighty will surprise you.
My school starts next month, am so excited,i cant wait to travel .

Hello house. I am currently expecting my CAS from UCL and after going through this, and similar, threads, I'm getting scared that I'm running out of time; the school is to start on Sept. 22. Is it possible for me to submit an application without my CAS and book a date like 3 weeks ahead, instead of waiting for it and then not being able to get a suitable date?
