UyoBoy4Real: It's not about the £120, it's about the value of what we paid for and we paid additional £85 to use the Ikeja VAC. Abuja priority service is faster than Lagos, it's not fair. As in... it's very unfair. I know someone who applied in Abuja without priority and got her decision and collection mails 6 working days after. -_- I don't even know again. Hope it's not laziness on TLS' part cos' my status on the application tracker still says "Transferred to UKVI" since Tuesday; even though I got a "received" mail from the Lagos Visa Office (DHC) on Wednesday. |

Oma12: I don't think you'll be calm if you paid 120 pounds. LOL!!! FYI, I paid the 120GBP. My bank charged me 350 per pound sef. And my own case is even more delicate because I'm to leave by Friday night. But what good will getting tensed up here do? Just pray and all will be well pretty soon. |

UyoBoy4Real: Peak period is not a valid reason to delay priority applications, that's why it's called priority. £120 is not moi moi. LOL! Calm down. If 1000 people paid for priority nko? You can't blame them sha, if that's the case. |

eljaye: I just realized that wakanow swindled me when I booked my flight. A word of advise to impending student travellers- 'never use agents/agencies, go to the respective airlines where available'!
I guess am so mad, sorry for the rant!
justwise: I have always wondered why people use agent or agency for flight booking while the airline website is there. Agent can't sell you ticket cheaper than the airline Sorry about that. But sometimes it's actually cheaper . Many airlines show the flight costs in dollars. From my own experience, when I called the airline directly to know the exchange rate they were working with, they told me it would be 200 Naira to a Dollar. But when I checked via Wakanow, their own displayed price in Naira was almost 10k less than what I had calculated with the 200:1. Probably as agents, they have their own different exchange rate. In many other cases, however, reverse is the case. So I usually check Wakanow to get the listings and then confirm from the airline's website directly; and go with the more favourable option. |

poshstore: pls whats the interview procedure house?Do they take all ur documents before the interview or they accept it after the interview? Before. All your documents would be collected (in the sealed file jacket) just before your biometrics. If you still have other documents (e.g extra photocopies), you would be asked to leave them outside whilst you attend your interview in a small room. Once you're done with your interview, you're free to go. *** As experienced in the VI centre *** |

OtseD: Looks like priority is processed here in nigeria. Yesterday was my appointment and i got an email today from Lagos Visa office, british deputy high commission that they have received it and has been transferred for a decision. Maybe its a system error and they forgot to send the mail to you. Status of mine on tls is received by ukvi. You should get it by the 6th day(thursday) everything being equal. All the best Yeah. Someone at the centre whispered this (that priority applications are processed here) to me. So I'm just hopeful that I'd get it by Tuesday, latest. |

derena: Hi Ebakwest, I also went for my appointment on Thursday and I used the priority service too and I got an email that same day that my application has been sent but up till now it hasn't been received by UKVI and tomorrow makes it the fifth day, please what's the status of your application now? because I'm a bit worried. I thought it took five working days. ebakwest: well I don't have anyone who has done it but like it's written on tls site, it's within 5 working days except if there are unforseen circumstances. I did my interview last Thursday so by God's grace it should be ready this Friday. Abeg oh. You guys should not scare me. I did mine today with priority. Did you both apply via Victoria Island? |

You must complete the payment and return to the online immigration application in less than 30 minutes" Where did you see this please? kuka700: with the 30 days temporary tier 4 visa, someone said students can not book a one way ticket to the UK from NGR. pls is this true? the person said booking a one way ticket is risky as one can be prevented from traveling or entering UK. and one cannot book for one year. pls what option do one year MSC students have concerning booking tickets? Ummm... you could book a return ticket with the farthest possible return date available to you on the day you purchase the ticket. Then as the time draws nearer, or whenever your intended travel date is available on the airline's website, change your return date appropriately. It will be at a fee. But it's FAR cheaper than booking 2 one-way tickets. Hope that helps. |

ebally: Goodmorning all, Please I have my interview scheduled for Sept 8th but my CAS has Sept 21st as resumption date. I requested for a new CAS to reflect the latest date for enrolment but they said the latest date to enrol(28th Sept) has been entered on to my CAS and the Home Office can access it via their on line electronic version. Please I will like to know if it is okay to use a CAS with no latest start date indicated and also, if it is safe to have 28th as latest start date when my appointment is on the 8th Thanks To the best of my knowledge, the CAS is an electronic document and you actually don't need to print it out for your visa appointment; you just need to put the CAS number in your application form. That's my own case as suggested by my school, at least. So if they've told you that it's been updated, you shouldn't be worried at all. |

babynussy: Hi evryone, pls I need ur help on this. I got an admission to study Msc Info tech and my CAS has been sent to me. But the problem I have now is the 28days statement. I havse all the maintenance fee n bal. of tuition in my dadz account but I jst noticed yesterday which is the 27th day that the acc is my dadz company account. my councillor told me I cnt use the account because is a company's acc. My sch school is resuming on 19th of sept. if I start counting again. Wnt it be too late? pls I need urgent answer on this. Thanks Why don't you try to pay the tuition to your school and get a new CAS? That way, you wouldn't need to show so much in your bank statement; assuming that you have the maintenance funds in your account or your dad's, that is. |
