Yes but currently airforce automatically are DRC meaning they won't convert unlike army Dssc who will convert later on if they actually want to further more in the military

This afternoon, I decided to check the air force portal just to see if anything has come up. Normally when registration isn't ongoing, there will be a message stating that registration is not ongoing. Today, to my surprise, when i clicked on the 'start application' option under dssc, there was actually an online form for registration. I created an account to enable me to register but i have not proceeded to register because when i clicked on 'start application', the disclaimer that popped up was giving instructions for airman/airwoman registration, and the registration dates on the disclaimer were 11/4/22 to 22/5/22. This is confusing because before now when i check, there's no disclaimer, just the message stating that there is no ongoing application. And then again why is the airman disclaimer under the dssc option? A backdated disclaimer for that matter. Could this be a glitch? Or does this mean they are trying to open up the portal for registration? Because to the best of my knowledge, there has been no official announcement for any recent air force registration.
I just thought to share this here in case anybody knows whats going on.

Really? The last time i heard this rumour was in 2018. But there was a lot of controversy on the subject because more people were saying it's impossible for ssc to be scrapped. I pray they don't cancel ssc sha.

The Airforce DSSC is 9 months now that’s why. Then Army wanted to rush theirs to join up for the POP and they say (rumors) by next year the Army DSSC will be 9 months too. The Navy too is 9 months. I’ll resend the mail shortly.

Yup army Dssc are passing out with airforce Dssc with what I heard. Airforce Dssc was just changed to 9 months normally it is 6 months even army ought to be 9 months but I don't know why they went back to 6 months. Well any training done at nda is meant to be 9 months but still yet to understand why army own is different maybe the next recruitment exercise, it will change

If they are passing out 17th Dec, then the training isn't up to 6 months, because cadets reported on the 23rd of July.
Also, why did the air force training take this long? They've been training since the month of March, which is way more than 6 months!

Remove your mind from there, base on the information I heard back then, they even complained that they are much and are looking for means to reduce them.

In all sincerity, reserves are supposed to be called to fill up that vacuum, that's the essence of the reserves in the first place.

There is nothing like short service in police anymore lol, it has been stopped several years ago. Either u enter through police college or recruit that's all.

Well just faith dey push me to the extent sole have saved my number but nothing yet even a rep at the federal level representing my side has saved my number but nothing yet. Wo it is not easy jare. It's been a year and 6 months counting like this
