Not undergraduate he's done with sch and NYSC. Just a 6 months internship.

This ISAP is a training programme that will culminate into full time employment.

Internships are short-term and are not intended to result in employment

Some people were lucky and retained. Some weren't either.

My bro interned with them for 6months earlier this year. That's what he was paid. Unfortunately he wasn't retained after the internship.

Interns earn 200k so I guess after the 18months program at least 350-400k wouldn't be absurd for managers and specialists.

A friend of mine applied for Advisory twice, last year and this year. Got them both but declined the offer.
He said he just wanna catch some fun but would return for a managerial grade.

So I had my interview today, it went well, there was a five minutes talk related to something around like Agriculture, education, insecurity. The second part was also okay, it was more of behavioural questions that was said in last year's thread, so nothing really new. Goodluck to everyone

I hv been in a similar dilemma with you now.

This is my candid advice.

I'm certain that the TS for bank b will b Virtual.

Don't resign from bank A just yet. Try and juggle both till Ur posting letter is out and see.

If this isn't realistic, forget bank B and stay with bank A, with your age u can still get into other top firms as a graduate trainee.

Get certified maybe ICAN, CIPM or a masters, try out any of big 4 or any other top investment firms in the country.

Generally banking is a trap for youngies. Don't be comfortable there.

3years max u should exist banking industry.

Advisory/tax interview will be very similar to that of Assurance
The only difference will be the 5mins impromptu speech/ discussion.
It will be much more technical than assurance.
For Advisory, have a good understanding of current economic developments.
Check out the post of @cycklerhimself page 40 of PwC 2020 thread.
For Tax, I can't say much.... Update your tax knowledge
Assurance questions will come from topics you have come across. They are generic in nature. Terrorism, insecurity, covid 19, data privacy, economy, education,health.........

What should we be preparing for? Will the interview pattern be different from assurance? Are we to expect ore experience based and less behavioural interview questions or both?

I'll appreciate comments from those who made it to PwC through the Advisory route or those with first hand information.
