An Indian acid-attack victim whose face was severely
deformed and needed 17 surgeries following the attack has
finally married the love of her life. The life of 26-year-old Lalita Ben Bansi, took a turn for the worse in 2012, when her cousin threw acid at her over some minor argument and had to undergo a successful 17 surgeries to partially fix her face.

She happily got married to her 27-year-old husband, Ravi
Shankar, on Tuesday at the Thane court in Mumbai.

A female student of the University of Maiduguri was on
Wednesday paraded while attempting to flush her baby girl
in the toilet. The unnamed student reportedly gave birth to a baby girl, killed her and tried to force the baby through the toilet when she was caught.

The sad incident allegedly happened at the Murtala female
Hostel of the University of Maiduguri.

Ann was unable to stop herself from crying and I could honestly say, I was feeling pretty awkward. Sitting in a restaurant with a crying woman is very unsettling. I was encouraged though by the presence of Steve, Ann’s husband but his indifference to her crying made us look mean and unconcerned. Steve was fuming and my spending an hour talking with the two had not helped him
to cool of in any way.

Their marriage had collapsed simply because of an evening of fun and “advice” that Ann had just before their marriage.
It looked as though it was just an enjoyable evening of fun and indulgence as a single girl before she gets married but now, three years later, regret was the only thing she had about the night. Her friends, those that had encouraged her on were nowhere to be seen and the only shoulder close enough to cry on was Steve’s but he was too hurt to offer one.

Three months earlier, Joel, a long time friend of Ann had walked into their home with an envelope which she had given to Steve and then left. In the envelope were pictures of Ann and Joel partying and having fun on her bridal
shower evening.

They had danced together, drunk together and even gotten into bed together as a way of bidding single a good bye.
The encouragement given to Ann was, “do everything you
fantasize about and then goget married” and she took the
advice of her friends and did it all but now all that had come to haunt her.

One of Ann’s friends had actually triggered this whole thing while they were at a party, she had tried to seduce Steve and when he could not accept her advances, she ridiculed him for being faithful to a woman who was not faithful to him. It turned out that Joel had been using photos from her bridal shower to blackmail and get Ann to bed whenever he wanted.

Police this morning confirmed that the number of people
killed in the Ariana Grande Manchester Arena bombing
incident had risen from 19 to 22. They were slaughtered in
what has been described as a ‘barbaric attack’ during the
concert by the performer who is popular with children and
young people.

Police chief constable Ian Hopkins confirmed that they
believe it was a suicide attack and that he was a lone male
attacker using an improvised explosive device.

A student has been left with horrific scarring after a tattoo
removal went horribly wrong. Pasuda Reaw, 21, had a large red rose tattooed across the chest last year, but regretted it so wanted to have it removed so that she would look more professional at work.

She tried Rejuvi – a chemical method applied to the skin –
in February but within days the area had become itchy and
painful.

The laser-free alternative applied with a small tattoo gun
claims to raise ink pigments to the surface of the skin and
create a scab that can be peeled off. But two months later, Pasuda said she has suffered ‘torturous pain’ and been left with an unsightly scar across her chest.

A young woman has died after being crushed by a tractor
at a holiday park in North Wales. Chloe Lou Farrell suffered fatal injuries while staying at the resort with friends on Friday night.

The 22-year-old was reportedly crushed by a tractor, which
flipped onto her at around 7.20pm.

Paramedics were called to The Warren resort near the village of Abersoch after receiving reports that a Chicle had overturned onto a young woman. But Chloe was pronounced dead at the scene having suffered extensive

A man on trial for killing his girlfriend has claimed that she
choked to death on his penis and now he wants to present
it to the jury in evidence. Richard Henry Patterson, 65, is

A boy crossing a street in Cameroon got a rare and painful
abdominal injury when a motorbike driver lost control and
ran into him, according to a new report.

During the accident, the 275-lb. (125 kilograms) motorbike
fell on the 8-year-old boy, and its handlebars smashed into
his abdomen, giving him an injury that doctors call a
"handlebar hernia," his doctors said.

Hernias develop when an organ pokes through the cavity
that holds it, said Dr. Valirie Ndip Agbor, a physician who
treated the boy at the Ibal sub-Divisional Hospital in Oku, a
rural community in northwestern Cameroon, in central
Africa, and reported his case. Hernias most commonly
occur in the abdomen, for instance when the intestines
break through a weakened area in the abdominal wall.
