TheFavoredOne: I guess so. Enrollment is the last stage before you resume the course. This implies that u must have paid the acceptance fee and in most cases obtained a visa already. I only hope they dint mean to state that particular requirement.

TheFavoredOne: Thats a good point. But if you remember the list of the scholarship application requirements, one was that the applicant must have "enrolled" or been enrolled. I guess thats why they are taking their ample time, still it is unfair.

Except you've got d balance of your living expenses in d bank for 28 days already.... or the NDDC's $30,000 covers all your expenses.

The delay will favour those that will resume next year.

GlobalCareers: As the finance is ready, then why is GEJ delaying the signing?

EMMABC1: LATEST: ladies and gentlemen my brother an nddc contractor went back to d office of d chairman this afternoon. It's still d same old story- GEJ has not signed d budget. As I write to u now, every dept of nddc is stagnant and suffering, including their formerly busy website. But d goodnews on my side is that he was privileged to look into list and behold my name is in d final list. Like I suggested before, we can help ourselves and nddc to by pressurising GEJ and even Okonjo thru whatever means( facebook, newspaper, radio, 'long leg', peaceful protest, etc) to sign d budget. God bless us all.

chivitech: Most external source cannot allow you to combine their funds with others unless the school's deductions. You can work around that if one of the funding is cash-based (i.e. you can collect cash from the sponsor). I am fortunate to get this year NITDA scholarship and my tuition fee for the University of Oxford is 20,455 pounds. I paid the 455 pounds before going to the NITDA interview as NITDA is 20000 pounds capped. When I got there, they refused my admission with Oxford, saying that it is not accepted to mixed the NITDA scholarship with another fund. YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN? But there is always a work around...

chivitech: What you are talking about is school-dependent. Not all schools put that restrictions. The restrictions on school scholarships is that you cannot hold more than one funding from the school but you can support your school funding from external sources (as far as that external source is not FULL funding)

GlobalCareers: Are you trying to say the nddc scholarship last yr was 3000+16000=19000 pounds? I thought it was $30000 (~17700 pounds).

chivitech: Yes you can. NDDC will pay up the balance of 3000 pounds to the University in question and pay the balance of 16000 into your personal account for living expenses. (Speaking of experience from two of my friends who got it last year)

Dantidote: Hope c6 in English at waec would be accepted in uk visa application as English proficiency. Although v gotten admission in a uk university
