PoliticsSome Northern Leaders And Their Selfish Interest. by danysi(op): 1:25pm On Jan 10, 2016
From Abubakar Tafawa Balewa to Ahmadu Bello, we have lost great leaders, visionary leaders, selfless leaders, who are there to protect the interest of their people, to provide sustainable development for their people, to improve the standard of living of their people.

What we have today, I can't regard some as leaders because they lack the features of one. A leader is one who commits himself, his efforts and time for the well being of his people.

To our biggest surprise, which shocked many Nigerians especially people from the North, as the Dasuki gate opens up, names we never imagined or expected are the names that are being called.

Sambo Dasuki, a person who claims to be a leader, a northern elder, a muslim leader, a person who claims the blood of Shehu Usman Dan Fodio, a person in the position of becoming the 'Sarkin Musulmai' of Nigeria, collected money meant for arms for the army to fight the ruthless boko haram, but used the money and shared it among our so called leaders to mobilize support for GEJ's reelection, and some other reasons.

To me, I strongly believe Igbo leaders will never do such a thing. They will never collect money meant for security of the lives of their people for their own selfish interest. They will resist and reject it, and they will fight for their people. They can never dare collecting money which will result to loss of lives of their people, and made homeless and displaced.

Northern leaders like Alh Attahiru Bafarawa, Amb Bashir Yuguda, Yerima Abdullahi, Sagir Bafarawa, Mr Shu'aibu Salisu, Aminu Buba-Kusa, Barr. I.M. Bala, Hon. Bello Matawalle, Dalhatu Inv, Bello Halliru, Tanko Yakasai, and one who came as a surprise to Nigerians, a very close friend of Buhari, a trusted and respected person in place of rtd Gen. Lawan Ja'afaru Isah are supposed to defend the interest of their people. However they went on sharing the fund meant to fight Boko Haram with.

Many lives were lost because necessary measures were not taken, many children made orphans, many women made widows, many girls abducted, millions displaced and made homeless, and millions of lives changed negatively.

How can you justify your actions? What will you tell your God? What will you tell the people? Indeed you have committed grave sins to your people and to your Lord.

I am not saying all Northern leaders have the same character - some are selfless, and corrupt free, and will never engage themselves in such act. We have some to be proud of, people like Gen Muhd Buhari, Engr Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso amongst many others.

Therefore, I recommend that every Nigerian leader that is charged with corruption, and found guilty, should be banned from getting or contesting for any public office ever. Also, anyone with a criminal record should not be allowed a public office.

PoliticsHow FFK Used Fronts To Receive Funds From Ex-nsa Dasuki’s Arms Purchase Funds by danysi(op): 5:56pm On Jan 09, 2016
Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign publicity director, Femi Fani-Kayode, used fronts to accept payments from former National Security Adviser, Col.Sambo Dasuki (rtd), according to information released by the Office of the National Security Adviser and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mr. Fani-Kayode is one of several prominent politicians, most of them tied to Mr. Jonathan or the Peoples Democratic Party, under investigation for benefiting from more than $2 billion in public funds meant to fight Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, but which Mr. Dasuki is accused of diverting to partisan political ends.
A list released by the Office of the National Security Adviser contained the name of a firm, Leeman Communication Ltd, used by Mr. Fani-Kayode to collect some share of the defense funds. An EFCC operative involved in investigating the widening scandal told SaharaReporters that Mr. Fani-Kayode had used the firm as a front in order to avoid detection.
After SaharaReporters first reported that Mr. Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, was part of the circuit of politicians who received vast sums of money from Mr. Dasuki, the former campaign spokesman for ex-President Jonathan issued an elaborate statement claiming he had never taken a single “kobo” from the embattled ex-NSA.
However, a source who is part of a team of investigators told SaharaReporters that Mr. Fani-Kayode was only trying to be clever by half. The source asserted that his team had traced monies illegally taken from the NSA after Mr. Fani-Kayode had persuaded former President Jonathan to hire him to undertake “perception management” for the then president who was in the thick of an ultimately futile reelection campaign.
Mr. Jonathan reportedly approved for Mr. Dasuki to pay some monies to Mr. Fani-Kayode through Leeman Communications Limited, a company managed by a Uk-based journalist and PR consultant, Lekan Fatodu. The former NSA then wired the payment through an account, FG/NS062014. Investigators allege that, as soon as Leeman Communications Ltd received the funds, Mr. Fani-Kayode then sent text messages to Leeman Communications Ltd to release his portion of the payment through a female front, Olushola Grace Obaze, through her account number, 001-542-8962, at Diamond Bank.
Investigators said they found that this convoluted and crafty mode of receiving payment was typical of Mr. Fani-Kayode’s financial dealings with former President Jonathan and Mr. Dasuki. They added that the former Aviation minister used several fronts to receive public funds that totaled N1.7 billion.
In a paid advertisement issued today, the Office of the National Security Adviser asked Leeman Communication Ltd to step forward to explain how it got the contract and to provide the list of its directors.
One investigator suggested that Mr. Fani-Kayode must have adopted the circuitous mode of receiving funds from Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Dasuki because he already was under indictment by the EFCC for money laundering that reportedly occurred during his tenure as a minister. During the presidential campaign, former President Olusegun Obasanjo described Mr. Fani-Kayode as a man who would prostitute himself for cash. www.saharareporters.com
CrimeOkada Rider In Trouble For Transforting Robber Parssenger. by danysi(op): 5:35pm On Jan 09, 2016
An okada rider, 19-year-old Uke John, could not stop crying at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikeja on Wednesday as he narrated how he landed in police custody because of a crime he knew nothing about.
John’s case seemed to be one of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
According to his explanation, his effort to make ends meet has landed him in the same cell with a robbery suspect, 25-year-old Olamide Oyetakin, who had stopped him to transport him away from a robbery scene.
John explained that when Oyelakin stopped him, he did not know that he had just snatched a bag and was trying to escape from the scene because he was being pursued.
“I was working around Shitta area of Surulere when Oyetakin stopped me and said I should drop him somewhere. Before I knew what was happening, people came from nowhere and took both of us. They beat us before they handed us over to the police. They said we were robbers,” he said.
Luckily for John, Oyelakin corroborated his story. The suspect said it was true that John was just an okada rider who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
“I was on my way to rob at Shitta. I was desperate because a week before that, my shop where I repair phones had been destroyed at Ijora, Lagos . I had the intention to snatch bags at Shitta that day but I saw someone with a bag before I got there and I snatched it. But before I could escape, I was caught along with the okada rider,” he said.
Oyelakin said that was the first time he would ever rob in his life and said he was forced to take to crime because of the loss of his shop to fire.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, said the supects would be charged to court at the end of investigations. www.punchng.com/okada-man-in-trouble-for-transporting-rober-passenger

WHAT IS QABLI AND BAADI ? Explanation to "Qabli" and "Baadi" in Salaat. Qabli is the SUJUD you make before SALAM when you mistakenly Omit obligatory parts of salat. WHILE Baadi is the SUJUD you make after SALAM when you mistakenly ADD during salat. During salaat one may make a mistake and ADD something to his or her salaat or Omit something in salaat. These two mistakes often confuse us on how to compensate for them. I will try to explain the two terms bcs they are very important to complete our salaat properly. When you add anything like rakaat, sujuud etc in salaat which makes the salaat more than expected, we term it BAADI. To compensate for BAADI you will add two sujuud after final Tashahhud and Tasleem then sit down to repeat tashahhud and Tasleem to complete your salaat. When you noticed you've shortened or omitted something in your salaat then compensate with QABLI. It is compensated by two sujuud after the final Tashahhud before final Tasleem. If you are wondering omitting something whiles reciting Tashahhud then just do Qabli and try to increase your Sunnah salaat or Naflat salaat to help fix any unknown mistakes to our fard prayers. Note: Tashahhud is the ''Attahiiyaat to end'' and Tasleem is the final ''Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah we say by turning our head to the right then to the left'' May Allah keep guiding us aright and may He forgive our mistakes...Ameen
