The answer to your question is that the map of the nations formerly held together against their will by the West in Black Africa will be redrawn according to cultural/linguistical affinity not for the economic benefits of the west as usual.

If Russia can be so interested in ethically/linguistical Russians inside Ukraine to embark on such major event, then she doesn't have the moral justification to stand against for instance, Yorubas seeking to reuntie with their kinsmen trapped in Nigeria, Benin Republic and Togo to form a Yoruba country.

Do you now understand why the West want the black ignoramuses to think that it is not greener on the other side? The same way they demonised Gaddafi and Mugabe.
Black Africans should at least see through things first before taking sides, you dont just support the west at all front in everything without thinking...
If the part of Ukrainians which are ethnically related to Russians want out, I think they have a right to join their kinsmen..

Mali chasing France away, but ivory coast and sengal that embraces France, even Nigeria that embraces France is doing much better,Africans and their leaders are the culprit and cause of African underdevelopment not the west
You are correct on that, Africa's underdevelopement is actually the fault of the African leaders, this said neocolonialism is still active as most leaders in africa may benefit from it themselves neglecting the greater good of their people and the African leaders that cannot see through it and only rely on oppressing their citizens constitute imbalance and further degradation.

Yes..
As with Burkina faso during Thomas sankaras reign, the French still wanted to retain their control and overlord of their former colony Burkina faso, which thomas wanted to stop totally even rejecting some favours like monetary help from the west,to free his people from western slavery of the mind, because his country people's were very poor at that time as Africa is mostly today.
But its rumoured the French had a hand in his murder to retain that neo-colonial and mental control.

IGALA COLONISED IGBOS AND BRAINWASHED THEM.

Its growing power, nevertheless, changed the dynamics of the earlier complex relationships with several northern Igbo communities. Joseph Hawkins in 1797 already captured the relentless raiding of the extreme northern Igboland by the Igalas.

In his “A History of a Voyage to the Coast of Africa” he noted the growing conflicts between the 'Ebo Country' and 'Galla'. By the late 17th century, the Igalas conquered and held socio-economic, political and religious control of the indigenous northern Igbo mini-states.

From Opi, Nsukka, Nsugbe, several Igbo communities on the Anambra river, the lower Niger, through Okpanam to Asaba the Igala held sway. Trading out post with Onitsha and the Ijo middlemen were fully established. The mythical Omeppa, Inenyi Ogugu set up garrison at Opi and several Igala warlords played their part in the build up of the Igala colonial take over of these northern Igbo states.

But no other individual played a greater role in shaping Igala-Igbo colonisation during the 18th century than Onoja Oboni, the legendary Igala warrior and slave trader. Onoja Oboni’s personality and heritage has been shrouded in mythical imagery over time. Ranging from being the Son of Eri, the grandson of Aganapoje to being a descendant of one of the Idah royal families; the priestly sub-clan of Obajeadaka in Okete-ochai-attah.

The key areas of consensus are; he was a master strategist, slave raider and trader, conqueror, coloniser and imperialist. Added to these were his diplomacy, expansionist traits and the acculturation of conquered territories.

He built himself a walled city in Ogurugu and recent archaeological findings of the remnant of the ruins of his fort on the grounds of the University of Nsukka confirm this. The Igala soldiers built forts and fortifications that stretched from Ete down to Opi and then to Anambra.

Oboni’s rise to power affected the history of the North-western Nsukka and the Igbo communities on the Anambra River and the Lower Niger during the Igala commercial and socio-cultural ascendancy and domination. This was the reinforcing of the golden age of Igala imperial expansion. In this way, Igala mega state took control and allegiance were paid.

Until the decline of Igala power, the Ezes of Enugu Ezike, Akpugo, Nkpologu, Ibagwa Ani and Opi continued to receive their titles from Idah; investiture, installation and confirmation of their office was only by the royal blessing of Attah Igala in Idah. The Eze were only validated when the returned home with Igala choral beads ‘aka’, staff of office believed to be imbued with protective charms to ensure longevity and security of the Eze as well as prestige animal (horse) to bolster up their ego.
BUT IGBO SLAVES WONT ALLOW FREEBORN REST...Na Wah for slaves o grin

There were also periodic royal visits to the Atta Igala to pay tributes and as well intended to strengthen diplomatic ties and inter-group relations, renew allegiance, and assured insurance from slave raids.

These are the elders that come out to beg Yoruba after their children have cause problem with their mouth.

Igbo never love Yoruba, they are only trying to attach because they need us for their survival, they are afraid of people like Igboho or adeyinka grandson should get approval of Yoruba majority

They come with their useless ancestral links, or how conquered and inferior Yoruba men are marrying their women or how we are southern Nigeria, all these to feel comfortable on our land.

Why is it that out of 300 ethic group in Yoruba land, na igbo dey give us problem? Look at what they did to Hausa traders in Abia, that is how much hatred they have for other tribes, worse if you are Muslim.

I have come to understand there are different type on igbo in Yoruba land

1. Igbo that have spent 40-50 years in Yoruba land, this type are usually born in Yoruba land, they rarely hate Yoruba and are usually ashamed of their fellow igbo behavior

2. Igbo that just arrived to Yoruba land, this type of igbo still have igbo tribal mindset, he will never want to associate with anything good with Yoruba, thank God, this set of igbo later find peace as omoluabi philosophy eradicate his primitive mindset

3. Igbos that have never step foot in Yoruba land or just spent few days in Yoruba land, this type hate Yoruba, hate Lagos and are the one always provoking Yoruba with no man's land.
Not all Igbo's are tribalistic..
I don't hate Yoruba,so how do you mean?

If one is thoughtful they'd ask them why they need to change the already spoken language to something else against the peoples will.

The north is not having everything rosy in their land as well, despite the infrastructural development which I agree to,Poverty and diseases still rule the streets of the north on another level till today.
This is actually the time to end any mishap and disunity in the south.
Anyways another thing is the way the 1999 constitution was drafted and the collective, misbehavior of the whole south.
