Oil is loosing sales in export,we import almost everything and export almost just oil with little extra compared to oil ,diversify the Economy and go into gas, green energy and heavy agro based exports atleast. And as for biafra,we will make sure egbema in rivers, ndoki in akwaibom and Obigbo in rivers which was part of Imo state, etc, returns back ass Igbo territory because this territories was removed due to oil that was found there.
paramakina202: Now that actions have led to reactions by ESN what is the result? It is you IPOBs who should channel their negative energy to something meaningful not killing and destruction they usually bring to Igbo land in the name of a dead project Like Biafra.
You must look at the source of the current problem and not at face level. ESN was made to protect the easterners from terrorist herders because of the delay from the south east state government to do it. Yes IPOB or ESN must cease destruction of properties and peoples life's but what is the government doing to intervene for the youth and channel their energy to something meaningful. How many times have you spoken about the attack on igbos, look at the thread, look at the thread it is about herdsmen wrecking havoc on igbos and putting the blame on IPOB for their murders,go and tell the families of the deceased that it's because of IPOB that their love ones were killed by herdsmen.
paramakina202: Stop deceiving yourself, the world knows that ESN is UGM and that is the reason why your leader have to be captured from far away Kenya and brought back to Nigeria. All those UGM boys caught in action against military or police are they from Sudan? Do you want to see videos of captured UGM members who confessed being ESN? Stop terrorising Igboland in the name of Biafra that isn't coming.
What you must channel your energy to is to challenge the status quo,in our environment, see how the economy is dropping and frustration is rising, this had resulted in the so called UGM to reck havoc,I'm not justifying killings of any group,I'm just saying that you must look at things with sharp cognitive skills, where was your voices when the so called IPOB were protesting without weapons and we're being killed and humiliated like animals by your law abiding security operatives? An action will eventually lead to a reaction.
The issue I have with Ipob is more of management problems and Ideas. For example, they should use this Ipob organization as a means to empower youth not only for agitations and clamour for a new nation. They could establish dates and fixed programs for skilled vocational trainings, helping poor citizens and probably buildings businesses for igbos,I know they may be doing such, but must step up their game and not restrict it to agitations.
udele1: Here it is. All these people died in less than 3 months after kanu launched his fraudulent ESN that never prevented one fulani atrack in SE.
Who told you that ESN never prevented any attack in SE,whether you like it or not the moment the ESN was launched fulani herdsmen killings was reduced compared to before.why did celebrities of Igbo descent thank MNK for protecting their homes and families?
paramakina202: The people dying every day due to ESN/UGM menace in Igboland are they Fulani?
Which igbos are dying everyday in Igbo land via ESn,ESN are meant to curb fulani terrorist and anything stoping them from doing so. And who told you ESN and UGM are one and the same?
paramakina202: But IPOB was warned when they created ESN that it will cause instability and insecurity Igboland. What good have ESN brought to Igboland since it was launched by MNK? They said ESN will protect Igboland agaisnt Fulani herdsmen the same ESN have killed more Igbos than the enemy.
Where is your proof that ESN has killed more igbos than the enemy? Some of you just say things with an uncounsious mind.
Aderewah: True. Igbos hate Tinubu unduely. If Buhari or northereners controlled Lagos, I am sure igbos will be significantly less successful in Nigeria's economic capital.
I get your point but see... What you saw there was a couple of days not years or month, once people hide for a couple of days, ofcourse they'll will eventually continue their daily productive life's after that.Igbos are resilient in nature, they'll continue their production after such. Can you tell me why malls and industries continued working today in the east after such warnings about a month ago?
OneTemplate: You're a dullard. When Kanu and his blind followers make the SE an unproductive zone, where would Igbos, a naturally itinerant people, migrate to in search of a better life?
Before you respond bear in mind the factual reality of how SW Nigeria is already the biggest home in the entire world for Igbos outside their traditional domain of SE Nigeria.
The Op and some others are clowns. Obigbo was changed to oyigbo, that name oyigbo is not the real name,it was changed once that ndoki part of Abia state was taken out and put into rivers all in a bid to remove it from an Igbo territory because of Oil that was found there. Well that oil is loosing export sales today, they failed to diversify the Economy,up till today, they have failed to develop Production and exports gat we can fall back when their main source (oil) falls out.
Baseless thread. Why relocate to Lagos and pay more, while I could still stay in east and sell and make profits. Before you move anywhere else you'll consider first of all the transportation cost to move over there, the renting of your new spaces or the cost of land, the cost of production and resources used in production of your goods, you just don't move your business to anywhere at anytime.
Instead of lazying around and being greedy and waiting for opportunities for igbos to leave their properties for you, cant you use this time to work harder and come up with strategies to grow your own..
Seriously we should start reading more to gain knowledge, especially now to know where the whole problem started from.If you don't know where you are coming from how do you know where you are going. It is beyond just screaming and insulting each other, while the master players play others into their trap. You can read as well on some countries like guniea and why they refused some fulanis from ruling them no matter what.
I don't think demolishing people's business was the right thing to do,those kiosk owners whom are illegal could pay a fine if they failed to relocate, and then they should construct new roads that connect areas easier.Abakpa area especially because of the population in that area..
Alex80s: Dem demolish even bustops in IMT, shoprite without building a park or terminal where people going to Abakpa, Eke , Transekulu and Emene can board a bus.
Instead of expanding roads built by white men in Enugu to reduce increasing traffic jam, they embark on frustrating some peoples hustle. They claimed that they caused hold-Up, but after the demolition things remained the same like in T-junction and timber in Abakpa. It's simple ,causes of these traffic problems in Enugu is simple : ,instead of people diverting to the street near their houses after close of business /work, they drive down the only road they that can lead them to their houses thereby causing traffic jam.
Moreover, the barriers in Shoprite/IMT Polo didn't help reduce traffic ,instead it increased it since there are only 2 roads that connect Abakpa from the town: ie Abakpa junction and IMT. People going to transekulu follow the same IMT. If our State Governors really wanted to expand roads in Enugu town, they could have opened a road that connects Abakpa from Ogui junction through zoo estate or even in GRA. The reason is this, from Zoo estate or GRA to Penocks Abakpa isn't up to 5minutes ,but after running round 82 division, IMT or Golf estate , you must have spent 1-2hours if there is holdup.Abakpa is one of the highest populated areas in Enugu. To reduce traffic in these areas our must construction a new road to ease traffic in these areas not breaking and installing barriers.
twilliamx: Dem no go complain now ooo...but if na Lagos, dem go dey talk say dem dey target igbo. I Don dey here Enugu must be better and things like that....blah blah blah....anyways the earlier all illegal structures are removed the better for the country. All states should follow strict urban and regional planning arrangements
Wickedtruths: Igbos invest in viable lands, not barren lands. Provided Igboland continues as it is today, forget it. Igbo entrepreneurs will continue to sidestep Igboland in their investment decisions.
