I was at the peopleplus office at VI some months back and the security man told me a zenith bank manager will have to minute on my CV first before they can accept it. Pls, do u av any other way I can get this done?

Anyone can easily pass an application letter for a cover letter because both of them serve the same purpose, but there is a difference. The difference between the 2 is that an application letter "can stand alone" while a cover letter "can't stand alone."

To make myself understood clearer, when you send an application letter, you don't necessarily have to send a CV alongside unlike a cover letter. So a cover letter just like the name denotes covers/serves your CV. That is, when you send your CV to an employer, you send your cover letter alongside. A good cover letter will always say, "As you will see from my enclosed CV..." This tells your prospective employer that you are discussing what you have on your CV.

As for samples, go to Google search and type "Good cover letter samples" and click on "image." They will give you lots of them.

Alternatively, get a copy of Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 8th Edition, to get all the info you need about how to write cover letters, CVs, essay, films, reports, proposals, etc on its thick page.

Remember that good CV and cover letters don't give jobs, they merely earn you interviews.

I hope the sacking would start from the top (GM to SM cadre)

But those ogas would find a way to push the Tsunami on junior staff which would have minimal effect in reducing the bank's expense.

For three years now, First Bank has refused to pay me my dividend.

In case you don't know, all firstbank's branch secretary, all area Managers and all regional managers are gone already.
Now, the bank's recruitments concentrates more on the contract staffs. Very soon, sometime this year, the only core/permanent staff in all FirstBank branch won't be more than 3 (The BSM, HLS and the Head Cash) others will be contract staffs. (Note: only for those in operations department)

As all efforts to balance both sides did not work, I resolved to resigning. Now, I am done with my NYSC. Is it still possible or advisable to go back to the same organization to re-apply?

No sane government will do this to her citizens, how about people going on vacation, students studying abroad. Has Nigeria started manufacturing everything, to be honest our products needs to be upgraded to be attractive, we want value for money so manufacturers should wake up.

Those studying abroad, going for health issue, whatever it is should come home. Nigerians should begin to learn to appreciate what we have. We have over depended on foreign products than ours. Excellent policy.
It may seems difficult for now but, in the long run, it will be for our best.

I think EFCC is an independent body according to the law. So, I don't think Buhari's intervention is even up to 10%.
