Pls could you assist with the Soil test ?

Good morning Esteemed Nairalands

Pls I have some questions for my small land in Mainland of Lagos state

- How much is Soil testing currently

- How do one negotiate with Omonile to avoid their oppression since I am a young man

- Do I need an engineer on site or an experience builder who can interpret drawing is fine

- Do I need an engineer to assist with the necessary permits requirements by Lagos state before construction begin or I can do it by myself

- Is it mandatory to settle the landlord association before construction can take place on my land as they gave me list of things to fulfill few years ago when I got the land but I ignored them

Hello all,

We decided to proceed with the renovation of the building in Lagos and I insisted on doing everything according to the books. So we've paid safety commission, town planning, omo onile money. These already costs over 3m already. According to the engineer only Labca approval is remaining. I told him I don't want backdoor approval. So he sent me this list, that's requested from Labca official. Which totals over 4.3m. I think This expenses are outrageous. Can someone please help verify if this is how things are done? cc diordaves acmebuilding billions123
