Thanks so much,as i posted to to a reply here some hours ago,we also already lost the baby,Though my wife is under medications now ,and we are awaiting when my doctor will confirm that she is good to go for sex,so as to keep trying and hopefully we hope for the best from God..We are indeed prayerful as well.

We really need this baby we are newly married and this would be our first expected child..

oln: @poster:never worry my brother.All indeed will be fine at the end of the day.Missed my period and was very hopeful of having my baby in 8months time.Did a home pregnancy test as well a blood test at the hospital which both confirmed my pregnancy,hubby and I were over the moon.We kept visualizing how the baby would be at birth,the sex,skin complexion......................... Sadly all of these were cut short when we were scheduled for an ultra sound 2weeks later which showed that there was no baby in the sac.Just some few minutes after the scan,blood trickled down my private part.Our greatest fear was confirmed 'we had lost our baby' .We were later advised by a relative of ours to undergo tests to confirm possible reasons for the missed abortion.This we discovered it was owing to low progesterone.

My subsequent pregnancy I was on progesterone shots in my first trimester.This we guess helped us through the first trimester without any casualty. coupled with the fact that we were more prayerful and had in-depth faith that all will go well by God's grace

Thanks for the comments,I have to inform you that we lost the expected baby yesterday,we just saw bloods coming out of my wife private part yesterday,immediately we went to our doctor and which they immediately took her for vaginal scan,then they discover we lost the baby .

They said something like an incomplete abortion was observe.Though we are been told that we have no problem of future pregnancy..She is on medication now..

I guess when our doctor say's she is good to go for sex soon we shall keep trying and hoping for the best ..

But have you in anyway heard of this kind of our scenario whereas the couple next pregnancy went well all through .?

Dr9ce: I know what you are going through sir...it is expected that when urine test is positive and also blood test..d beta-HCG level should have risen to a considerable level such that in d worst case scenario the fetal heart beat ll be picked via USS.
I will say u should keep praying and go for the next scan as scheduled.I dont want to scare u but we may be dealing with an ectopic here.

what I will ask you couple to do is pray.. I know a certain couple in your situation, the wife test results show positive but scan says there is no baby in the womb but fibroid after much persistence and further test the womb was evacuated and the fibroid removed successfully thru operation. like any other newly wed the woman was devastated and doctor advise she shld be prayerful and allow herself to heal before she try again...

Three months later the woman got pregnant and guess what happened during her visit after the scan the doctor told her to go pray hard for her baby to develop and come visit in three months time unknowingly to her the doctor did not divulge the full condition of the baby in her womb at that time


Guess what, at the first visit there was no baby in that womb and she was pregnant.. three months later she was told what really happened after the baby was already developing int the womb evident from the scan result. The doctor knew her patient history and knowing fully well that if he had told her she would be devastated.


The lady gave birth to a beautiful baby girl healthy, strong and proactive.. I am not mixing words here I witnessed the whole episode from start to finish.. My dear there is nothing God can not do as long as you stand firm with him in prayer. He is the only one that can change your situation around

Thanks so much for the reply and encouragement ,I have also been searching on the internet since the very day we got the ultrasound scan report,which we have been gathering different opinions by different people with differ pregnancy experience However,i have been taking courage as man to calm my wife down.

I have been monitoring her on using the vitamine folic acid,we serious aim for an heartbeat by 18 of april our next schedule ultrasound scan date.

bigtt76: Stay calm both of you and pray. Nothing is impossible with God in your side. The doctors should aim for a heart beat and not looking out for sac. Folic acid and other multivitamins for wkmen are very important.

Also try and google more on pregnancy you will find more websites with plenty of information you guys will need. WebMD, Baby Center etc.

Hello Doctors in the house and everyone, my wife last mestral period on 23rd of february and finish 28th which makes it normal 5days which she normally uses

However march 23 she could not see her mestral period ,we start thinking she might be pregnant,we start pregnancy test by using home kit pregnancy test and all our three different test on different day were positive

we some weeks later went for a medical blood pregancy test .

( S.BHCG == POSITIVE )

we want to know how many weeks the pregnant was, we did an ULTRASOUND SCAN.

SCAN RESULT BELOW.

UTERUS::: Average Size A.V.F uterus measuring
Longitudinal = 7.3 cm
Antro-posterior = 4.5 cm
Transverse === 5 cm

The myometrium is with no focal lesions

EMPTY CAVITY WITH HOMOGENOUSLY THICKENED ENDOMETRIUM 17 MM

OVARIES:::Both are average size with NO SOLID OR CYSTIC LESIONS

RIGHT OVARY::3.3x2 cm.
LEFT OVARY;;;2.6x2.4 cm

NO EVIDENCE OF DOUGLAS POUCH collections

CONCLUSION:
THICKENED ENDOMETRIAL LINING

My questions is: The doctor said no sac was found and also said that all they could see is thickened line.this is our first expected baby and none of us have a medical knowledge we are now confused,I will be happy if anyone in this forum can explain things to us or make us happy Although the gynecologist we meet said we should come back in next 2 weeks for another scan,also prescribe folic acid medicine for my wife..

I will be glad if doctors in the house or any gynecologist can see our scan result above and enlighten us more as we are scared ,since they said NO SAC was found nor yolk ,probably is she too early to know either the pregnancy was false or what ?

Please all replies would be appreciated..We can't wait to have our baby kicking for real.

saxywale: This is so scary. One of the reasons I never use an ATM in naija. Even though they sent text messages that ATM card had been issued. I just leave it for the branch to keep.

saxywale NOTE:it is not advice able to leave your card uncollected with bank despite text message that the card is been prepared and ready for collection,

Do collect them and keep it some where save if decided not to use them,am not a banker but just giving an advice here because not everyone working in bank section are trust-worthy most especially card department is a very skeptical unit ....cheers

I used my GTB NAIRA MASTERCARD on UNITED BANK EL MAHAML CAIRO EGYPT behold my fisrt 1000 LE equivalent to 24k naija currency was debited without been dispense out i waited for about 10 minute hoping the cash will still dispense,however i proceed inserting my card second time same amount debited again without dispensing a single penny NOTE::THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME USING MY CARD ABROAD I HAVE EVEN USE THE CARD SEVERAL TIME IN EGYPT.

To cut the whole story short to my surprise see below..

Below is the procedures i followed

I log on to my internet Banking Account, got my Activation Code,which was in this below format

Your online Activation code for the number 5xxxxxxxxxxxxxx1 is::::MY TEN DIGIT CODE was issued

And proceed to this below link

I followed the this steps which is REGISTER NOW

I entered my card details and email, below is the error i got

I also followed this othe step ,the REGISTER WITH A TEMPORARY ACESS CODE

Enter my card details But i was having error message as below

Although I have been using my Gtb naira mastercard card in various countries I.E(Russia,Dubai Egypt,& Naija) POS and ATM which all my transaction do go successful .

However since mastercard securecode is the most secure method now for all mastercard users for online purchases,so i need to get my securecode as well.

I wll be glab if anyone here has experience same difficulty am facing and later got it rectified

Am still out of Naija for now i would have work straight to my branch and seek for solutions to this...In addition i have mailed GTBANK back home many times and and got their response in various time with different opinions some said i should retry from 3rd of january 2013 i did yet not working out.
