When pple coment sometimes I wonder if dey knw what dey say. Hope we realise that the normal N750 fixed charge wil be scraped?
Hence we wil only be paying for the amount of energy consumed.even if the tarrif is increased, it now depends on how u we are able to conserve energy and save our cost.
D only problem is dat not everybody has postpaid meter, if this meters can be made available den I think it wil b ok.
That is what mr fashola is trying to xplain to nigerians, so dat weil b able to minimise d way we consume energy.

Politics / Dasuki's Wife Begs DSS, FG. To Relaese Husband For Medical Attention by dariseni: 12:40pm On Dec 31, 2015
Wife of Sambo Dasuki, a former National Security Adviser (NSA), has called on the federal government to release her husband as his health is really bad.

“He is ill, he needs medical attention, he is not pretending,” Mrs Dasuki cried out.

The Nation reports that Mrs Dasuki created a scene at the headquarters of the Department of State Security Service (DSS) on Tuesday, December 29, when she was begging top officials of the agency not to allow her husband die in custody.

“Nigerians should help me beg the federal government, the DSS and other agencies to release my husband who did his best to serve this nation. He is ill, he needs medical attention, he is not pretending. I implore the DSS not to allow him to die in custody.

“I saw my husband and I felt dejected. He is not just well. Nigerians should assist him to get a reprieve. We (myself, the children and relations) are all destabilized. We don’t know what is happening because three courts have granted him bail. Why are they after him? Let those concerned respect the court by releasing my husband.

“There is no way my husband will run away from the country under any guise. They should please follow the rule of law and uphold his right to bail,” she begged.

Meanwhile, a reliable source revealed that Mrs Dasuki was allowed to see her husband.

“We have followed the rule of law, the ex-NSA is in safe custody. He was once in DSS custody and he was never maltreated and he had access to medical care,” the source said.

A few days ago, the embattled former NSA, who had been earlier released on bail by the DSS, was rearrested.

Dasuki’s lawyer, Ahmed Raji, confirmed that the ex-NSA had met all the bail conditions given by the judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Justice Peter Affen.

The lawyer regretted that the court order was not obeyed by the DSS and described the actions of the security agents as an affront to the rule of law.
