Seychelles is a good gateway for you if you have a resident permit or work permit which is very difficult to get now for Nigerians . There are lot of Hospitality , Medical jobs in the seychelles as they short of man power so they depend more on expatriates .

Life there is very expensive but u get well paid if u lucky to have a job there . Buying a Tin tomato is times 5 the price of what u will in Nigeria due to the fact they have to import it. Life is very laid back but great beaches if u like nature.

Roland i will advise u to go there on holiday first so u can have a first hand experience and decide if u really want to leave there , you can also check online for jobs in the seychelles ( That was how i got a job here and obtain a resident permit).

Seychelles is a great holiday destination for families and honeymooners , It is located on the indian ocean and one of the most expensive holiday destination.

Accomodation ranges from 200euros per night to 15,000euros , eating is expensive due to the fact they have to import everything ( even tomatoes , ) , Seychelles is safe and u can walk freely at anytime of the day .

Island hopping is great here , there are 115 islands in the seychelles and one is believed to be that garden of eden (praslin island)

the poster is not going for holiyears like u doing in Cambodia (which is far worst than Philippines ) the poster is going there for just 1 month and looking for cool nigerians to hang out with .

Seychelles is a small island and most commodities are imported the only factory they got is Tuna factory , food , clothing's , accommodation, transportation are very expensive . A average student will need close to 500usd to survive monthly and as a student you are not allow to work.

Seychelles is in top 5 of one of the most beautiful island in the world , if u in love with island lifestyle then u will definitely love it or else u will find seychelles life very slow for you ( U might wait 2days for u to get tomato paste if supermarket runs out , there is only 1 supermarket , 3 commercial banks , 1 radio station , 1 tv station , 3 night clubs , 1 transportation company and by 8pm no more bus service .)

Seychelles is a gateway to europe , asia , america , Seychelles citizens does not require visa to EU countries , UK , most asia countries , most of the embassies here are called visa shops and if you hold a seychelles work permit or student pass you can apply for visa to go to anywhere in the world easily ( Schegen visa is issued under 3hours by just producing a copy of your passport and medical insurance and letter from your company or school and these apply to other embassies also )

Kenya airways is the cheapest airline other airlines are emirate ,qatar and air france . call the airlines and check for the prices

I would need to send original passport pictures. It seems ridiculous to have to pay £40 to DHL pictures (that cost £7.00) across to Nigeria! I'll look into this some other time.

Scan and email pictures to your families in Nigeria , they can print it out on a photo paper with a photo printer (HITI, Epson, e.t.c) and will look just perfect .
