Is it advisable to use your credit card in Nigeria (Restaurants , Hotels , Malls , ) and does anyone knows if Amex is accepted , am not a big fan of traveling with cash

Am to submit it in thailand and it is part of the requirement to obtain non immigrant B visa. It is not a problem coming down to Nigeria due to the nature of my job i can fly for free, , I can hook up with you Travel xpat when am in Nigeria and u can guide me thru the process , is that ok with u?

thanks all , but the thing is am not in Nigeria at the moment and have not lived there for some time now , am coming to Nigeria in some weeks time just for the NDLEA clearance certificate and i really dont know anyone there .

The www.ndlea.gov.ng as no information and it seems the site as not been fully constructed .

It is so funny that i have been around europe with no problem with immigrations but most times i dont fly from nigeria to europe sha, the only countries i always have issues with immigration whenever i flash my green pali are asian countries , 3 worst experience are in Thailand ,Vietnam , Cambodia .

Was doing asia with some western friends of mine , I was asked one same question like 100 times " What are u doing in thailand ? and i clearly answered am here on vacation with friends but seems the immigration dont believe that some Nigerians travels for holiday , they always believe we only travel for Holiyears or Holidrugs , Holishopping .

Vietnam was the worst but will save the long story .

i know a secret on how to get a UK visa in lagos or abuja witout soending much, though you will still need the required documents stated by the third poster. the secret is that you need a visa or a not too common country issued on your passport and when that is noticed at the emassy of UK in nigeria your visiting/student or watsoever visa will be issued. i have tried this with three people and it worked.

If every sinner is stone to death and put in jail i wonder how many people gonna be left on earth .

You guys needs to start looking at the grass root before you pass judgement . Most parents contribute to these issue , over protective parent who never allows  their kids to mix with opposite sex  at the right age ( some kids at 18 cant bring girlfriends home , the parent will shout and scream)  , Most kids in these scenario tends to grab whatever sexual advances thrown at them (playing with next door  boy neighbor whose parents are over protected also) , some can easily get loose from it but for some it get stuck  with them and becomes part of them and they end up liking same sex .

So kids  in above scenario should be stone to death or jailed ??

If we feel homosexuality is a sin that deserves them to be stoned then lets start stoning whoever commit any sins stated in the Bible .

So those boys that were lure into gay practice in boarding schools and they got stuck with it ,  should be stone to death

no matter what sin , no ones deserve to be stoned to death . many people are frowning at death sentences  for christ sake and some people can still  believe stoning to death will help matters .

Infact , i never knew about the the Surinder Singh ruling untill i saw it on your post and i googled and you are absolutely right about what  you stated. The point am trying to make and understand is that if he enters into a civil partnership in denmark with a visit visa  with a british national does that grant him to apply at the danish home office for extended stay or resident permit if the british national decides to stay in Denmark as self sufficient for 6month?

Moreover,he can switch his Visa status anywhere within Schengen states as soon he signed the CP.

You can reside in Denmark for 6 months with your partner either as a worker or self sufficient and then apply for the EEA family permit to the UK with the EU free movement dimension(Surinder Singh
ruling).That will be an easy one to get to the UK.

The Surinder Singh case only applies if his Partner live and work in Denmark and he reside there with him for at least six months , But since he is on a Schengen visit visa and his partner works in Singapore not sure how it is possible to apply under the Surrinder Singh ruling after they sign a civil partnership in Denmark cause am not sure if signing a civil partnership/marriage in Denmark grants him to change his visit visa to resident permit (??, lots of question-marks , meaning i stand to be corrected ).
