Qc-1:
@ all

FYI.

Brabus is handling my project. Matter of fact, today will be day #1 on the site. I know you all can't wait to call me a prospect victim or a "mugu". It is well IJN! I believe we all human can make mistakes. Better than that, I believe we all deserve a second chance. I look at the quality of the job he did on this thread and was convince I'm not going to regret it. Brabus might not be the best accountant or the most honest contractor but I belive he is a gentleman.

It's okay if you wanna trough a jam or two at me. All I can is I thank God for ever thing.
This is good. Brabus has got another opportunity to prove himself. QC-1, I pledge my solidarity. May your project get to good completion. All I can say is finish strong. Opening a thread is entirely up to you. You may show us pictures of milestones completed. All the best.

whitecat007: Cos some people wanted him yo fail and he fell right into their hands, hopefully he got some lessons out of this cos he can't keep going like this. I believe he was desparate for job and thought he could cut corners with the budget. I will still let him handle my project. I love comeback stories and something tells this is one of them.
Bro, I wish you the very best. I admire your resilience in defending Brabus. I also hope your proposed project with Brabus will be a comeback story for him. Good Luck.

Gabbytabby and helpee,

Please chill guys. Lets sheath the swords. This e-fight is derailing the thread already. Properties section is not known for this. Thats why I come here to reason with professionals and mature minds. I know both sidea are hurting already, but lets move on. smiley

This is beginning to look like romance or general section, with all those kids with 10Mb daily bonus.

Madam Gabby, I hope say my spelling correct. grin

helpee: pls learn how to do your business in a fair manner. You don't openly try to steal somebody's client openly like this. Don't u have honour. I don't care if this guy decide to try brabus again...that's his cup of tea and even if brabus take up the job, I will advise him to keep it offline. But for you to come openly to solicit for someone's client on his thread when he down and under fire shows how mean you are. U can't even be a good business cos you are too desperate. If you don't care wether brabus become ur enemy by soliciting openly for his job after his downfall on his own thread, u won't mind making the client ur enemy when things go wrong btwn you too. Sorry I am talking like this...I am just pissed
Thank You! Despite what has happened, such open and brazen attempt to engage Qc-1 by eghosa is distasteful. He could have sent a PM instead. Not openly soliciting for business here.

Spyder,

You know you have not told the house why you are using so much reinforcement for a bungalow. Any future reason?
Also, is the use of perimeter reinforcement just to make the foundation stronger, or is it a standard requirement for bungalows? Forgive my inquisitiveness. I hope others could learn from these questions too. Thanks and Good Job Well Done.

I guess then that the land area is not prone to water logging, because going by what I learnt here, one is supposed to use damp proof membrane before casting the over-site concrete. BTW, does DPC not mean Damp Proof Course? I guess the concrete is damp proof then.

Question:

Please did you use wire mesh reinforcement on the german floor? Or did you just use sand, cement and aggregate?

^^^^^ with the drama on the chataeu thread, i can understand. From your past experience with him, i can also understand.
PropertiesRe: The Chateau In Ile-oluji: Our Construction Journal by daroseconcepts: 6:13am On Dec 07, 2013
Personally , I am no longer interested in this matter. Brabus should settle his client offline. No more dirty linen laundry is needed. The point has been made, Brabus erred badly.
Online assault cant get anywhere. Client should explore all necessary legal means to recover his money. Finally, it is clear that the 'House of Brabus' has fallen. I will follow my own advice as below.
daroseconcepts: I do not think the Brabus saga can be settled on Nairaland. A lot is going on offline. There are several information that we here are not privy to. The diamond.brabus.neophyte triangle is one mystery we are in the dark about. My take is, lets move on. Watch out for eye opening building strategies and 'free advice' on this forum. If you must go to the extent of engaging in a transaction, then carry out your due diligence on/offline. It will be sad to hear of any more disappointments here. Peace to all.

What a thread. What a section. I have been following. In just five days i have learnt what i could not in my five years of studying engineering in the university. I never knew nairaland had a construction school in property section. My wife is already complaining of my sudden addiction to my tablet pc, which has been gulping megabytes, while trying to view pictures from spyder, brabus, muyesky...In five days i have been inspired to design my own house plan, using AutoCad(which i abandoned for 8 years after learning). I am making plans to commence my house with more confidence now. I may open a thread of progress as well. I am almost in tears for the hours i wasted in other nairaland sections, gisting about air-headed celebrities and getting into time wasting banters on Tonto Dike and co. grin

May the good Lord bless spyder, brabus, muyesky, not to forget regular co classmates...hajj mufutau, fhemmmmy and co. I dey watch una for 3D... grin

FamilyRe: How Stigmatisation Promotes Baby Factories by daroseconcepts: 6:55pm On May 28, 2013
I am ibo. Born and bred in igboland. OP nailed it. pressure and stigma on the women as regards childbirth in igboland, is usually intense, hence baby factories are more rampant. This is not to say that there are no isolated cases in other parts of the country. OP is only giving reasons for the apparent higher number of baby factory cases in the south east. Lets not see this with the lens of tribalism.
