IMO governorship supreme court ruling might just be misconstrued because of ignorance. What are the constitutional requirements for being governor? They are:
1. Majority votes; and
2. 25% votes in 2/3 LGAs.

Ihedioha had the first requirement only! Hope, now declared governor, had the second requirement despite not having the highest votes, coming a distant 4th.

Now, if the first, second, and third highest scorers could not meet the second requirement of 25% in 2/3 LGAs, which constitutionally disqualifies them, Hope wins!
