AMF is charged base on debit turnover on your account for a period, and the fee is usually #1 per mille if no concession is granted, i.e N1 is deducted for every debit of N1000 to your account. Using your bank statement, sum the total of debits to your account for the period they wrote in the debit alert narration and divide by 1000, if your answer aligns wt d 5,300 debit, you have no case.

E.g. debit turnover from 1/02/2026 - 28/02/2026 = 5,300,000.
5,300,000/1000
AMF for d period under review = 5,300.

We currently have a separate meter for water, and that costs under 7k.

This is the closest to what I have in mind, mine is 9 flats and we do N750 every month and it's just about enough for 30 days and water is pumped twice a day with 1kwh @N63.
So depending on what you are charged per kWh by your DISCO, but based on my experience I think 5k might just be enough.

I think I'm in the best position to advise you on this.

In my compound, we have a separate prepaid meter for our pumping machine. The machine is 1.5HP which is like the biggest for domestic use. I am in charge of recharging the meter. We are 5 flats and each flats contribute 2k at every recharge, that's 10k. We use 10k worth of unit for about 3 months, sometimes 4 months, pumping twice daily. So 5k worth of units is more than enough for you. You should have some extra left.

However, this depends on the Power Distribution company in your area. In my area, they give 21 units per 1,000 Naira. If yours is lower, then 5k might not be enough in a month.

A Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE 5G wouldn't be that bad, good camera quality and nice specs as well, you can check it out, may not even be up to 150k.
