RayOB1:My brother/sister, we are both waiting on PWC ooo. By the time they are ready I hope I won't be talking of Senior Associate. |
Hello house. Please does anyone know if MRM part time lectures have started.
Kindly respond if you have any information regarding this.
Thanks. |
Please House, where is the whatsapp link for MRM part time |
RayOB1:If you have not been contacted yet, then relax. You should get a success mail. Regret mails dropped since Dec 12. |
GodRockz:Good morning GodRockz. Was your first instalment payment accurately halved or were there extra charges. |
bayernistar:Still on this payment in instalment matter; the portal sounded like a threat when I clicked on payment in instalment - 'something like you cannot change your decision if you go ahead with payment in instalments'. So my question is, I hope there are no extra charges for paying in instalments? You know how it is when you pay more in instalments than when you pay outrightly. |
RayOB1:I know four people who got regret mails and won't continue in the recruitment process. I have been waiting for my success mail since then ooo. |
terens:Go to their website and check. Recruitment goes on day in day out in all the 'dream' companies. Pwc still advertised for a number of positions including Audit associate, I think(not sure) it expired just yesterday and you asked this question yesterday. Map out companies you would like to work for and follow them on Twitter, LinkedIn, their websites, everywhere. I have a good job but I still follow companies I want to work for like my life depends on it, once they advertise and I fit their criteria, I apply one time - that is the way to go sir/ma. |
yow17:tech tests bother on the role you have applied for. With the examples you have cited, I am guessing you applied to a role bothering on IT security or something of that nature. For audit or forensics, tech tests will encompass accounting, auditing, fraud etc. I spent about 3 hours writing the tests. Be prepared to spend 3 to 4 hours on their premises. |
yow17:Yes you are right. It was the usual aptitude test plus technical test. They have not gotten back to me yet. |
I was invited for the interview for this role in October. Not heard from them since then. Anyone else? |
Congratulations to everyone who just started their careers with Pwc. Just got an invite for Assessment (technical and aptitude test) for the position of Associate Forensics. I humbly seek advice from anyone and everyone here. What am I to expect, what should I prepare for, etc. cc: ednut1 cc: TherealAdonye |
Olutola88:For the sake of similar wannabe investors, which of the suggested businesses did you eventually venture into. |
ddestiny20:seen. thanks. |
ddestiny20:where is the link please. send to temple4jah@yahoo.com |

Olam10:Fantastic reasoning! It will help you during the CBT. |
company500:I do not know when the CBT will hold. I do not think anyone knows. But we will know when we start getting invite mails. And if it is going to be well organised, which is the least it should be, then it is going to be in different venues across Nigeria- venues that have facilities for conducting CBTs; for example, in Lagos, venues for CBTs include New Horizons at Ikeja, Unilag Computer Testing hall, Chams city at Isaac John etc. The kind of questions to expect for CBTs depends on which of the recruiting firms is conducting the recruitment exercise. The firms might be Dragnet or Workforce Mgt or Phillips consulting - I do not know which one but my guess is Dragnet. Google and find out, there are several samples of their tests online. There are several nairalanders too who have these past questions. If you seek well, you will find. |
Olam10:Dear Olam10, I will advise you to sit your behind firm and prepare yourself for CBT either from workforce or dragnet or any of the other recruiting firms who might be handling this recruitment for FIRS. Yes, they said in their advert that shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, but think of it; how do you think FIRS is going to interview thousands of applicants for a few hundred slots or maybe a thousand slots thereabout? There has to be some form of streamlining to cut down on the numbers. That is the way it has always been done especially in private firms; at least that was how I got my job in 2012 with the bank I work with now. About 70,000 applicants applied, about 65,000 were invited for a CBT, about 12,000 who passed the CBT were invited for Assessment centre excercise, out of which 1100 of us got the job. I am sure more than 70,000 people applied for this FIRS job; the streamlining has started already - some applicants already getting regret mails. Next will be CBT and . . . |
More than a year ago... Happy anniversary hopefuls. |
More than one year ago . . . Happy anniversary, hopefuls. |
Hey Guys. I checked my Job submission status on the Career site of Oando some days back and I noticed the status had changed from 'Open' to 'On Hold', the job status date also changed. Did any of you notice this on your own Job status? |
It will soon be another 28th November, I hope we would have heard something by then. This fall in oil price has slowed down activities of oil companies as regards recruitment |
