Has anyone been called to write the SHL test for Senior IT Security, Risk Management and Control Technical Position yet?

This reasoning is low and quite laughable. I see what your decision for me would have been if it were left to you but let's just leave the decision to God's favour and mercy to get to the interview stage and to the interview team to see whether my stellar experiences, several fully funded trainings at home and abroad plus a little above a dozen international and undeniably relevant certifications in my field will not be considered to fit me into an EH role. Starting afresh lol, they could have just advertised GT roles then.

I understand you. There is a difference between working in a federal ministry and working in a federal agency/parastatal. That person you are talking about worked in a federal ministry not an agency. The agencies and parastatals pay way higher. As it is now, only a high paying federal agency would be able to entice me away from the private sector. And truth be told, even NCDMB is not Eldorado. There are even better places and if the opportunity comes, I will grab too. May God help us all.

So my brother enjoy Gods blessings but don't ask what 500k is. I know it can get better and it will get better.

Thanks for the exposee. I just always smile when I see people say earning at a particular level is not true or not possible. It is not their fault, one cannot fathom what he or she has never been exposed to. I tried to demystify by giving an idea of what I earn at the moment, and someone said I shouldn't be competing for this job, another one said I am gunning for job security. Both wrong. I am competing for this because I want more money. What is 500k after seven years of work, it is peanuts compared to what some other people, my mates earn. Some of them started at more than 500k as graduate trainees in the industries where they started their careers. See let us just pray that God lifts all of us up, instead of limiting ourselves within our imagination because we just cannot fathom it. I started my career at a little above 2.7million gross p.a in the financial industry, yes, some of my friends couldn't believe it because all they had seen were the contract staff who worked in my industry, and of course contract staff in the financial industry are paid peanuts, whereas that 2.7 mil p.a was another friend's tithe per annum in the industry he was playing as a graduate trainee too and someone is telling me I shouldn't compete for this job, may God help that person to see clearly. Most federal oil and gas agencies pay mind blowing salaries, ask those who got into NLNG in 2017/18. Again may God lift everyone up. Fingers are not equal but, don't be deceived, people earn mind blowing salaries. Travelling abroad too is not a function of what one earns, there are several reasons for wanting a canadian, a UK or US passport . . .better health facilities, better education and future for kids, etc . . .at least that is the motivation for someone like me, not necessarily earning power. #peace

I'm from Bayelsa State and my house is not far from the NCDMB headquarter. Believe me when i say the pay is very real. I have friends working there. They're living large, with this job no need to relocate to another country.

Hey Come on. I know a lot of folks in this our not so nice economy don't have blistering careers in terms of remuneration and it is isn't their fault, it is just life as it is in these parts, but don't let that blind you into doubting the earning capacity of a lot of Nigerians out there. I got my current job 7 years back, started as graduate trainee and I am now doing more than 500k a month, excluding upfront, leave allowance, 13th month, health benefits for myself and family, etc in other words, by God's grace I am comfortable. While I am not sure what the salary scale for NCDMB is, the EH better pay way way way more than 500k a month, and going by the fact that I know at least two people who left my organisation for NCDMB at the grade that they left, I think NCDMB is a money spinner. May we all get to the desired destination by God's grace.

While your assertion cannot be completely ruled out, a number of other factors contributed to the length of time . . .the breakout of the Ebola virus topping the chart. NLNG like most IOCs were big on safety, so everything was pended till the virus was contained. Then there was the economic downturn in the oil and gas industry which greatly reduced the number of candidates that got the APLs at the end of the exercise, even from those who got the final success mails.

Hmm. If this is true, then is not a rewrite.

And if it is not a rewrite then the questions may come as SHL format. This is not sacrosanct, I am just speaking from my experience during the famous NLNG recruitment that started in 2013 and ended in 2017. there were two tests just like this one and the second was SHL
