here goes, my pav g6 motherboard is bad, d 15inch screen is still crystal clear, 6gb ram( 2 & 4), 500gb hdd, amd a6 processor, battery still last 2hr with charger, how much can i get for it, or better still u could sell d motherboard to me if available, location akwa ibom.

finally i hooked it up to an external monitor, still no display on the monitor, took it to a technician today, ran all the tests he could, and told me the fault is from the motherboard, but didn't specify the actual component causing it, i forgot to mention it's an amd system both processor and gpu, bought November 2013, no fault till now, am still open to ideas, thanks.

@OP, what you need to do might just be "to call someone nearby that have a bit knowledge of computer maintenance and tell the person to help you remove the RAM, dust off the RAM SLOT and re-connect the RAM". Good luck to you.

The leds that are on... Are they blinking? If they are... Then there's a problem with your ram....

A faulty vga in this context is an extreme case... But take it to a technician, let him diagnose it hand-on.

no they are not blinking, it's on until i switch it off, yeah a faulty vga is really an extreme case, i just hope it doesn't come to that, i intend hooking it up with an external monitor to see if it comes on.

good evening, i have a problem, just this morning i was gaming on my pc, and it just suddenly tripped off, i tried switching on again but the screen is totally blank, not even a black screen, only d power button led and keyboard led is on, please any possible solution from you guys will be appreciated, i have googled everything i can still no progress.

open ur search bar and type command prompt, right click on it there will be an option to run/open as administrator.

total gibberish, reread every word u typed, and it's start menu not begin menu, don't misguide anyone please, u do need an anti virus(d good ones though).

before u try anything, try this first, open command prompt in administrator mode, then type this code sfc/scannow after scanning try opening ur Windows store apps.

my candid and honest advice for you is to stay away from this scam called airtel, i subscribed for this nonsense 2 days ago, on a normal plan i get download speed of upto 700kb-1mb per sec, after subscribing for the 1 hr plan airtel reduced the download speed to a measly 20kb per sec, can you imagine, a 19mb file that takes less than 20 sec to download couldn't if finish downloading for 1hr. i was so vexed that morning, stay away from airtel and their fraudulent plans.

Lolz, u made me remember myself back then in boarding house. I think that's the phlegmatic part, not wanting to say NO to pple. I also have the same problem, I don't mind giving my things out, even if I needed it.
I was mother Christmas, I wld give out my provision to pple even when I knew they probably had theirs and were keeping it. Or borrow pple money even when their pocket money is more than mine, wc they might not pay back. When no one wants to take up a task, I find myself volunteering for it, etc. The funny thing is even though I had less, I never want for things and I don't like borrowing from pple.

Being quiet doesn't mean one is stupid. Just be urself, and don't be overly sacrificial for pple who aren't worth it, think of urself too. And when someone does somethn u don't like let them know u don't like it and they shldn't try it wt u again.

you just described my whole trait, one thing i have come to realize about humans is that they treat you depending on how you present yourself, once you set your boundaries trust me they will respect it, those who know me knows the good in me, while those who are yet to know, sees me as a snub, when i go to church, I just want to be done and get out, though i had love to stay back and chat, but what exactly are we chatting about, so i just up and leave, it's a routine i hate and love.

am so damn sick and tired of people ranting about amd a-series apu running hot without a valid claim to it, op i use hp Pavilion g6 amd a6, runs fast as hell coupled with a 6gb ram and a dedicated 7670m gpu, u don't want me to start counting how many games i have finished on dis pc, it's 2yrs old now and d battery still last me 2hrs+, if d laptop doesn't have any known issues/fault by all means go for it, to be sure you are making the right choice check users review on the laptop at Amazon or any popular e-commerce store to get a better review on the laptop.

It's probably the live tiles in the start menu. Right click on each one and turn it off

thanks i hope that should do it, already turned off some of them, will off the rest now, or even uninstall them all.

good morning guys, I recently installed Windows 10 as a dual boot with my windows 8, fixed all the driver issues, disabled automatic updates and done every other recommended settings, the problem is despite having done all this, my data still drain (unlike Windows , each time i connect to the Internet with my modem, am still pondering what else is draining my data, apart from this Windows 10 is a sleek os, a fraction faster than my 8, and the best of all runs cooler and games run faster each time am gaming. just need to fix the data draining issue
