You have VPN on device that you got the warning from if I am correct? ibietela2: I don't, and I have VPN on specific device, but with an external router I can have VPN on the network level. |

Could it be a router and cable problem? i just ran an advanced speed test and got this. Which is weird. ibietela2: Are you sure something is not wrong with your router or cable?
I will be passing my cables via ceiling this week, na how to pass this parapet be my issue

I had no problems with this as it came with no account on it. I only needed to enter my serial number and registered freshly. It saw mine as a clean empty box. GiggsTk: Taking out the problem of purchase, registering/activating it is my new concern.
Was there this congestion at the time you made your purchase or activation?
If so, were you able to select a congested location as your service address at the time of activation? |

Like i said i bought mine at computer village and it was seemless. It is up to you sha. GiggsTk: Thank you. Just checked though and it doesn't seem any of them have in stock, so I might have to resort to buying from the official starlink website |

If you want same price as site, buy from Konga or Jumia. I bought mine from computer village at 460k with no account on it and I had no issues installing it myself. GiggsTk: Morning everyone I'd appreciate help with these questions
1. I'm at Ojodu Lagos and I want a residential plan which is currently unavailable...is there any chance of switching plans whenever this becomes available?
2. Premised on the first question...Which is best - buying from Jumia or Konga and buying from Starlink themselves....the ones from Jumia/Konga, can I try out different locations to see if I'd find an available service address not too far from me when I get the device before settling on a plan or it's already locked to the roaming plan, because I understand that for buying from Starlink I need to register those addresses ahead first at the time of purchase |

My residential plan has been activated. I am still getting the same 20-60 mbp/s on speed test. The difference is that it is true to the speed test😂. As in when I download , download speed is the same unlike when I was on mobile and it was capping me at 500mbp/s to 1mbp/s
Now I don’t cry thinking why am I spending this money for this mediocre speeds |

ibietela2: What is the use of UNLIMITED when you can’t even download a 500KB image in 2 seconds? Ah my MTN na beast oo. I Dey download 1gb like say I Dey transfer files from external hard drive. The first time it happened to me I thought I downloaded the wrong file. Like if I want to download a 10gb file sharp sharp within 5 to 10 minutes. Na MTN I Dey use. But na data e go burn. |

BadMaster: I hope you know the difference between downlink and download, Mbps and MBps?
Regarding speed, as long as there are no obstructions in the view of the dishy and installed, preferably, at the highest point in your location, there's really nothing much you can do to improve speed.
Make sure to split the 2.4/5.0Ghz frequencies. For devices close to the router, use the 5Ghz frequency, it's faster. 😂😂 I will not buy it if I did not know the difference between downlink and download 🙃😩. But thanks |

dastudent: I am currently getting like 7-15 mbps on speed tests but really when I download , it is usually hard to get 1mbps speeds. Which is confusing. Good news. I was able to change my new device plan from Roaming to residential in Lagos. Hopefully i don't get stories that touch at the end of the month. |

Question is. Was SARS a menace to the society? Where they extorting and killing people at will? If your answer yes. This weird arguement is invalid. Government looking for ways to rubbish the demands of the masses by paying individuals to find rabbits inside hats. |
