bro irrespective of what you and that guy are arguing, I think he's right with the definition of terrorism.

Before an act of violence could be classified as terrorism and the perpetrator terrorists it needs to have a political/religious aim. These aim are the ideologies he's talking about, and it also has to do with instilling fear. The said guy in the news, is a mass murderer unless this killings are linked to some political or religious ideologies and aims you can't call it an act of terrorism.

By the way, they're all bad and evil, neither terrorism nor mass murder is good.

Even the Christian and White Supremacists mass murderers were never called terrorists. It’s nothing new. Give him a Muslim name and see the headlines change even if he doesn’t have an aim like you claim.
