Politics › Windpumps In Nigeria; Solution To Government Water Roadmap Failure by DaudaAbu(op): 12:00pm On Dec 17, 2017 |
Just trying to find how far are windpumps faring in Nigeria
Seeing that most rural and even urban communities resort to borehole to provide water for themselves since the gov't over the years have failed in this regard
It does not require power from generator or public power utility rather just power the wind which is free and readily available 24/7
Maintenance is cheap/ but high initial cost.
Can be used for irrigation, livestock feeding, sanitation improvement etc
Pls Who has seen something like these in any community in Nigeria? Share your story (with pix if possible)

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Most Muslims Give Birth Recklessly? by DaudaAbu(m): 11:48am On Dec 17, 2017 |
MhizzAJ: It's common with the uneducated ones
I don't think their religion forces them to have plenty children but i think it advises them not to kill their unborn babies simply because they can't provide for them
They really can't commit abortion without any solid reason
Apart from that they get married to like four wives coupled with the fact that they might not even be educated so they don't know the benefits of having a small family The abortion part is true but scholars hav widely agreed that you can 'plan' your family. Most of the parents are irresponsible, they run away frm the responsibility of training their children and send them of to distance places to unknow pple to help train them Remeber, on the last day we would all be questioned on how we train our children/wards |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Most Muslims Give Birth Recklessly? by DaudaAbu(m): 11:42am On Dec 17, 2017 |
Oye0404: This happens mostly in d North where Muslims are dominant, truth be told, most of dem are illiterates nd dey don't value Western Education, they rather abandon their child in Arabic schools. I feel its high time Muslims got their priorities right, they should develop themselves nd stop wasting time, strength, resources on things that don't add value to them Partly true. They abandon the children and send them, away ro go and fend for themselve while they continue to produce more. Its part of what SLS was canvassing for b4 they shut him up.he says only wealthy individuals who can afford to take care of kids should marry more than 1 wife. Most of those children would end up not getting the Arabic knowledge they seek while hustling to feed. At the end of the day every father would be questioned/ give account of how they train their children/ward |

The wedding gown etc etc
As some asked above, just cos i need english to communicate doesnt make me english. Moreover i need it to communicate to a wider audience whereas the wig is only needed at certain times even by a lawyer/judge |

ShinnBet: There is also no law mandating she becomes a lawyer as well
She should put her limited legal skills to test and challenge the long held dress code.
Note: her hijab ban is not limited to her graduation ceremony alone as if she decides to practice law, she will need to adhere to this same dress code. You know that this her singular action will lead to all those isues To be addressed. .And know too that if it comes to using legal skills, she would get lots of SANs to argue her case pro bono |

anuoluwapo884: It's simple called rule of law, every country have their status quo why contest it when you can't win it, believe me you wasted yrs to earn that and you decided to dump it just because of what, if your parent had to sell properties and do labours in sending you to school would you do the same Did gay people ever think they will get their right in those countrys where they are allowed freedom? Someone stood up and demanded it |

Nice article.
Just on point. Truly most men use excuse of having a second wife only to fulfill their lustful desire.
After 2 or 3 kids the wife might not be as responsive sexually as she use to be to the husband , he therefore feel rejected and dejected and
Might resort to a second wife to fullfil his carnal needs |
