OgbonnaUbani: He is a frustrated Yorubalized Igbo. Check his facebook profile and see how dirty and hungry he and his wife is I've already checked him out. He says he's from Lagos. Are you sure his family wasn't banished from Igboland? He seems to be very bitter and frustrated about Igbos and Igboland. That's why he can't keep IPOB out of his mouth. I'm sure his dirty looking wife is a Yoruba. |

MrMcJay: Yes, like the trailers of onions you eat in the east or the cattle that arrives in hundreds. FYI, the east doesn't grow cowpea which you call beans. This is the same foolishness that cost Ojukwu the civil war. Stop buying food from your 'enemies', grow your own. Whether you eat or not is in the hands of the people you're fighting. I want to peacefully separate from you and have my own country, my own identity. How does that make you my enemy? Are Camerounians and Ghanaians your enemies? I don't understand where the enmity is coming from. The Czechs and the Slovaks are living peacefully, The Ethiopians and Eritreans are living peacefully, the Germans and the Austrians are living peacefully... Why do Nigerians think they cannot exist peacefully side by side with the Biafrans? |

obailala: I am human and I am also seriously disturbed about the animalistic nature of the fulani invaders but what I find silly is when people choose to politicise a problem of this nature, just like the bokoharam problem was politicised. When people start making assertions that my choice to vote out an adjudged ineffectual leader is equivalent to a vote in support of the devilish fulani massacre; I find it repulsive and outright foolish that people choose to play politics with everything they can lay their hands on irrespective of what long term damage this may cause.
There has always been irate Muslim youths killing people in several uprisings in the north before 2015, there have always been fulani massacres in the middle-belt region long before Jonathan vs Buhari. So trying to imply by any means that my support for a Buhari presidency over Jonathan means a support of this killings, or trying to preach to people to vote Jonathan or a Christian or a southerner as the ultimate solution to the killings, I find that to be an imbecilic political divide-to-win tactics using religion/ethnicity which doesn't do any society any good. My friend, you need to do a serious introspection. You brought in politics into this thread with your 'Jonathanians' mumbo jumbo when the discussion was all about plausible reasons for the never-ending Fulani onslaught against the South. Stop deceiving yourself. The elections have been won and lost. Jonathan has gone but you APC e-rats cannot stop dragging his name into every discussion. Even long after his loss, the man is happily enjoying his loot in retirement but you guys in your frustration still desperately keep churning out all sorts of bizarre divide and rule tactics to justify your delusions. Sensible people have since learnt how to pay no attention to your devices and you and you alone will drown in them. Today Nigeria is a thousand times more divided that it ever was, no thanks to the failed divide and rule tactics of the clueless ones. You seem to be more interested in focusing on the 'divide and rule propaganda' than the daily massacre of innocent Southerners/Middle-Belterns by the Fulani ethnic militia. When are you going to speak up? Is it until a member of your family dies in their hands? By the way, what is divide and rule? Who are they dividing and who are they ruling? Do you in your wildest imagination believe that you have anything in common with the Fulani man? Do you think the Fulani gives a rat-arse about your miserable existence? Naive and self-destructive people like yourself have fallen victim to senseless murders by irate Muslim youths in several uprisings in the North. Be careful my friend. He who wants to dine with the devil comes to dinner with a long spoon. A word is enough for the wise. |

ephemm: I agree, over 90% of Brazilians are from just 2 ethnic groups (Whites & Pardo), about 65% of this 205million Brazilians are Catholics, almost 90% are Christians. In Nigeria, with over 500 languages, and religion, roughly divided into half between Christians and Muslims, a villian to some is an hero to others.
Abacha is still viewed an hero to some, you cannot mention IBB's name with corruption in some places. In some other places, (Nairaland inclusive) while GEJ and Diezani are their lord and saviour, Obasanjo and Tinubu should be pilloried...
The ethnic, religious and sociocultural diversity is not helping us so well. That is why IPOB is vehemently pursuing the dismantling of the evil contraption called Nigeria. The marriage has been a collosal failure and should be annulled. |

There's no roadmap or policy framework anywhere in sight to suggest that anything will change now, in the nearest future or in the distant future. The downward slide continues. Buhari should do the honorable thing and resign. He doesn't seem to have the capacity to handle what he signed up for. |
Politics › Re: Economy Gone Out Of Buhari’s Control, Says Lai Mohammed by DauraDullard0(m): 4:26pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
obailala: For the fuel importers, 'business as usual' involved indiscriminate collection of subsidies, the subsidy regime was so sweet for the fuel import cabal that in 2011 alone, Nigeria paid over N2trillion to those leeches who in return ensured that the nation had fuel all year round (as long as the FG signed their cheques whenever they coughed). It is no longer the case and low oil prices even means no more subsidies at all.
For the NNPC, the guys from NUPENG and PENGASSAN (I think) recently shutdown the NNPC over moves by the petroleum ministry to unbundle the corporation and make it more efficient/profitable. You and I know how most of these unions always prefer the old 'business as usual' ways where they do whatever they like and still get paid. These shake-ups and industrial actions 'I believe' also affected the supply of fuel nationwide. You're trying so hard.. Just give it a rest. Buhari's ratings is informed by how his policies, actions and inactions directly affect the ordinary man on the street. If the ordinary man on the street is groaning because of hardship occasioned by Buhari's actions/inactions, then Buhari has failed. |

obailala: Well it's an unfortunate situation, very unfortunate. But what could be the cause of this persistent scarcity?... Could it be because the present govt has refused to play ball with the cabals which handle most of the fuel imports and the cabals which want to ensure things remain 'business as usual' in NNPC? Whatever the case, hope this ends soon. How do you define 'Business as usual'? Availability of products or non-availability of products? |

Corruption has already come down and the oil price will recover significantly (although not as before) in 2017. The 2016 Budget of Ruination suggests corruption has become bolder and shameless |
Politics › Re: Economy Gone Out Of Buhari’s Control, Says Lai Mohammed by DauraDullard0(m): 7:09am On Mar 13, 2016 |
obailala: Oil products are expensive for you in Nigeria because your giant country is incapable of refining the crude that comes out of its ground. But there was no scarcity during the clueless one's administration. There was relative stability in the availability of petroleum products. It seems we're back to the Obj era of fuel queues and scarcity. |

They mostly sound poorly educated, ignorant, hypocritical and devilish to the point of telling lies on Jesus to God. How else can one explain a people that defended corruption and thievery in Government, turning around to insult the person trying to fix the problems after severe damage has been done?
Theres obviously a mental health issue of epidemic proportions in Nigeria and the Govt has to try to do something about it. What sayest thou about the 2016 Budget of Corruption? Presently there's no policy framework, no direction. Nigeria is presently on auto-pilot and about to crash. You my confused friend is here talking nonsense....
