There are a number of mid range tools that I didn't touch on, but you could add them in the reply. Now, Let's talk about Dealership/Workshop level diagnostic tools. The word Dealership is such a simple grammar with big meaning and interpretations formed in the head. Argh. Dealer. Dealer Diagnostic tools. Well, the beautiful thing about this tools is also the fact that it is available to everyone, not supposed to be so, but God bless the Chinese, Lebanese, Bulgarian and everyone that has helped make this happen. They've virtually cracked all diagnostic tools known, and the price compared to if you were to be getting them normally, coupled with the fact you can't even normally self is outrageous. So what are dealer level diagnostic tools. Simple, they diagnostic tools specifically made by car manufacturers, to Diagnose all systems in the car. And they are only available to dealerships. In Nigeria, different car brands have licensed dealers that sell and repair particular brands, but the truth is real dealerships don't exist in Nigeria, and it is not supposed to be so, anything we touch like this, we basterdise, in fact it more a factor that it is because it is Nigeria than the fact that it is Africa. Other African countries with dealerships operate something close to what dealerships should be. e.g South Africa. But that is not the gist, we are talking about diagnostic tools, dealership talks for another thread. There are quite a number of Major Dealerships in Nigeria, in fact quite much From Elizade of Toyota to Weststar of Mercedes to the Cosharis of Ford and other brands to the Stallion Motors etc are the dealerships in Nigeria. Even in Alabeke, Abroad, overseas, dealerships are termed stealerships, You end up paying through your nose for services and parts. Still does not rule out they are the ones licensed by manufacturers for sales and maintenance. Overtime, dealerships have mixed up with aftermarket outlets. For example, Cosharis that was supposedly should be mainly ford dealers and repair shop, now virtually deal and repair all brands, same applies to most stores. Can they still be categorised as dealerships, I leave that to you. So there are dealer tools or car manufacturers specialised diagnostic softwares or tools. There are also cross market or aftermarket diagnostic tools that Diagnose a wide range of vehicles, they are most of the above first discussed mid range tools same are their manufacturers. Just like the Chinese are taking over everything, the automotive industry is not left out. They are not the pioneers of many technology, but the way they will so refine it ehn, you sef go fear. Same reason the effect of corona virus is biting so hard, billions of dollars lost due to shut downs. But thats not the tory. I thought delving into programmers, Programming tools, tunners, key cloner right from basic diagnostic tools is too overboard. So we will delve even more into diagnostic tools, then to whatever the spirit leads. *sips a bottle of cold water * Yeah, I was talking about the Chinese and how they've taken over everything. In todays world, understanding and speaking mandarin is one of the 10 ways to be a millionaire, thats if you have sense sha. A number of of Diagnostic tools you will get to see, are either cloned by the Chinese or made by them. Mid-Range Diagnostic Scanners. Below are a list of them. The Autel Md808 LAUNCH Crp 123,129 Ancel Fx2000 Foxwell NT650 Autel MD808 Autel no doubt makes one of the best diagnostic tool. You can do and check almost all systems with the Md808. If size is what makes you feel something is great, well, it is quite handy. Like almost tools in the mid range level, you can't do actuation test, or some more tech level stuffs. But say you have a bad speed sensor, you can run a live feed, and turn tyres and check if they are working, you can use the long term and short term fuel trims to do a lot stuffs if you know what exactly you are looking for. The downside to this tool is, you can't take this to a customers house, then check their vehicle and open your mouth and say, Oga, you go change plugs. The way they will look at you ehn, expecially if it is all those customers that do not know where radiator is located. They only believe anything you say if you come with a big box, and a Diagnostic tool that's as big as a TV. Yes, the Md808 won't impress anybody, but it does it job quite well. Same applies to the Crp129 the full version to that series level. It was initially Creader VII+, and a great tool from launch. The fact that looks like a game pad, takes the seriousness of the things it could do from it. But it doesn't. It has quite a number of coverage of vehicles. Like always, you can never go wrong with the launch. Ancel FX2000 and Foxwell NT650, should probably not be on the same line, but they do the same job. If only the everage mechanic owns any of this tools, the number of cars they will be rendering irreparable will reduce. The Ancel has more coverage for Indian Vehicles, and Foxwell, has a beautiful name. It does quite well. If you have any questions ask o. Hand is paining me, I know nobody send me this tory

Well, if you were in Alabeke, Jan's, Abroad, you will probably be shouting stealership just like they do there too. The kind of cheap labour we enjoy in the automotive sector in Nigeria is annoying, it is turning my bele sef. You see a car owner, drives to a mechanic shop, with probably a malfunctioning engine or noise from the cars suspension and has this poor fella working on the car for close to 3hrs. Serious 3hrs o, God help him, the car is any better or even problem resolved sef, and he brings 1000 naira, as 1k, Abi 5h sef, ehn take, this is the last change with me, collect. Argh, and you think you can make heaven. You can not o. You can not **coughs**. Erm, but that's not the story. We moving a little up the ladder to programmers.
