I felt I should also contribute after been a beneficiary of what others have posted here.

I also started this mini-import business some 2 months ago. The major thing I'll like to point out here is that until you take action on all you read here, you'll still continue to ask questions upon questions.

Take the bull by the horn and get started. I started with importing one piece of mobile solar charger from aliexpress. I got it after some weeks and got it sold through one of my friends who sold it to his pastor. That encouraged me and I made another order of a tablet. There are so many things you'll learn by DOING IT YOURSELF e.g. market dynamics, how to approach prospective clients, how to interact with your supplier and so many other things that no matter how many questions you ask here, you'll never get a satisfying answer until YOU TAKE ACTION!

As someone rightly posted before, don't just import what you think will sell, import what people are already buying. That way, you'll be able to sell off your goods on time and recoup your investment.

Conclusively, not everyone is cut-out for marketing, you can overcome this by simply telling a friend or a relative to help you market your goods and thereafter pay him or her commission on every good sold; you get your goods sold, he/she gets a commission and everyone goes home happy.

THE KEY WORD IN ALL I HAVE WRITTEN HERE IS ACTION!

Small scale online importation business does't not mean only to know where to buy from,but take the bold step by applying the best tips of marketing the imported goods..let people around you get some commission by introducing customers to you..let people always know you as a supplier of a particular item or goods..

@all let me make something clear here for all to understand and i came up with this after discovered the secret from my mentor whom happen to be the owner of anticareer.com.. If you really want to go into small scale importation business,then alibaba is best option to you..if you think that checking any seller feedback lever is a way to confirm he or her,then you are making a big mistake. Now listen and see how most of the seller gain 99 to 100 percent feedback,after they parret their product, they then open several different account then they rebuy their own product with different identity and then came back and write a positive feedback on the product.though not all of them do such but most of them..
So if you want buy from any saler on aliexpress with 97 to 100 positive feedback, try check same buyer at alibaba and see if he or she has been confirm before you buy..yes most of them that sell on aliexpress also has a store on alibaba...

Buying original bb on aliexpress can't be possible but buying original bb from alibaba can be possible,only if you know how do go about it and also know that you can't buy just 1 pic but minimum of 10pics..
Another think is,importation of bb is a controvasal issue in whice i always advice not to go into it if you dont have the basic ideas and training on how to detect fake and real bb,cos even some of Uk bb are fake..

It's a wise decision to stop importing any first week of december of every year. My last imported going arrive on 7th december and since then i did not place any order again.

The ip happend to charge 2day,duo the country still remain united state..here is i got yesterday: ip.141.0.8.229 and country is united state..just now i tried again and here is what i got ip..141.0.10.69 the country still remain united state.
What do you think?

About the paypal, you could make money on fiverr and transfer to paypal even if unverified. You can use unverified paypal for a couple of things online like buying domain names/hosting at sites like namecheap and reselling. However if you really want to setup and manage a verified account here in Nigeria (which is the best thing to do), its very simple! Here's what you'll need.
A blackberry phone with BIS
A USA virtual bank account (VBA)

So after these are ready you'll need to follow these steps.

1. Open your blackberry default browser and go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/. You're doing this to check the ip and location of your phone. If your phone is London used like mine, the country shown there should be United Kingdom. I've not tried this on other phones though, but no matter where you bought your phone just try it, hopefully the ip location is not going to be Nigeria. So whatever the country is, note it. It might be relevant in the future.

2. Go to http://www.paypal.com/us. This is the home page of USA paypal. What you're trying to do is open a US paypal account. The idea is that since you are opening a US account from a UK ip, paypal might think you're resident in the UK but maybe you're a US nationale and you want to open the account and link it to your US bank account...you'll understand about all that later...let's just continue! ...Look for the signup link and click it. It takes you to another page to validate the country you want the paypal account to be opened in (which is going to be USA by default). Click the button to go to the next stage. Here you will need to fill in the form with your personal details like name and all. But the problem is where you get to your address and phone number. You don't have any, so here's what to do.

3. Go to http://www.usyellowpages.com or any other yellow pages service you know. Just type 'us yellow pages' in google and you will get enough results. Choose a suitable state and city and you'll get a list showing so many business contact details (address and phone number) in the US. Copy down this details somewhere safe you might need it later.

4. Fill in the remaining details in the paypal form and conclude the signup process with a valid email address. An email to verify your signup will be sent to you. Please and please don't open this email through any other means apart from your default blackberry browser. Don't open through your laptop or customized blackberry browsers like Opera. You will be using the default blackberry browser throughout the signup process. Infact anything you want to do relating to paypal should be done through your bb browser.

5. After you have verified your signup, Congrats! You now have a paypal account, though unverified. We've successfully crossed stage 1. Now to stage 2, the verification process.

6. Now you need to verify your account and for that you will need a USA virtual bank account (VBA). You could search online for people who provide US VBA services. The irony of the whole matter is that most people that offer this service accept paypal payments only. I was able to pay for mine because i had made some cash into my unverified account initially. But if you search adequately you could luckily find sellers who accept Liberty Reserve payment, which is quite rare though. So you pay the VBA seller and he sends you the following:
A routing number
An account number
Bank name
A login ID and;
A password

7. On your paypal home page click on get verified and input all the details you will be sent. Click on continue and it will take 1-3 minutes to get instantly verified and there you have your account verified and ready for use for unlimited number of transactions on the web. That's what you wanted right?...For those who have problems getting a VBA seller that accepts Liberty Reserve, pm me, i can accept your LR payment and purchase the VBA for you with my paypal account if you so wish.

So that's it! Quite simple i guess. No need to keep on hiding your ip like a rat that's being chased around. Browse the paypal account comfortably on your phone. However i personally do not recommend keeping large amounts of money in your paypal. When the amount is getting bigger, try order something online or better still transfer to your LR account or any other means so you don't get messed up by paypal. The fact that you're verified doesn't mean your account can't be limited. Even US and UK citizens who have thousands of dollars in their accounts have had their accounts limited because they fail to take safety measures. Beware!

Warnings:
Unless you're using your blackberry phone with a UK ip or you are in the UK or US itself, don't attempt to open you account from any other location or device, else you will have yourself to blame.
You don't always need to login to your account. Just login only when you have something extremely serious to do. Alert on any transaction you make will be sent to your email. So you don't always need to login to your account.

As regards the brazillian hair, the price depends on the inch of what you are buying. 12“ is usually around $20 to $55 while 30“ goes for as high as $120/unit. I thought of importing it but gave it a second thought due to the price & what of if the product doesn‘t conform with d buyer‘s demand. With d rate at which people are placing order for this product, the supply may exceed demand & d loss will set in. More so, these Chinese can play pranks to meet your demand & pack fake along side the products. I asked on EL Matteo's thread if anyone has imported Brazilian Hair so as to know the originality and quality since the 15k price is different from the 80k price I thought it sells, but no one has said anything.

my frd u are right,cos the issue of brazilian hair is a complicated one and most of those that cliam they have import it a just a bunch of liar.. But i most confess here that i persnol import it and here my story.

the first import was a trash..you got me right. The first ones i import cost me $12 per lot and it's 100g.and you knw what? It same type they sold it here at the rate of N1,500. So u can see there is lose. So i have to be smart enough the second time and here is what i do.. I when to a laday that have a nice saloon and also deal with low price brazilian hair. I told her that i want to import the brazilian hair for my girl friend and my girlfriend demanded for at lease 20k and above brazilian hair. So the girl laugh at me and said there is no brazilian hair that cost as much UNLESS IF NA HUMAN HAIR! did you got that?
So i took her to my store,i power on laptop and connect my moderm and i log to alibaba. When i search for original brazilian HUMAN HAIR..after searchng for a long time b4 she pointed at some of the human extension and said here are the type my girlfriend want.. Believe me friend.each one cost N11.000 plus shipping as i calculate it. And i buy 5 slot..to cut the story short,that same human hair i bought at 11k is same quality with the ones cost 20k here in nigeria and u can see its 9k diff. So you can compare that for 60k with those of $30 or so at aliexpress.
If u see that of 60k here in nigeria then expect a difference of 12k to 15k..
And pls b4 u import always make sure a lady tha knw about it she always by ur side. Alternative, let any of ur customer give an analys of any kind of human hair the want eg the type of the materia,virgil or nt,the gram,the inchs, color etc.
I was successful in ordering 4 times this year and stil next year be dat.
