Ntel and Swift. Am currently using Ntel and can testify that their unlimited plans are truly unlimited and have no cap whatsoever. I subbed to their 2days unlimited plan for 1.5k to verify this and in the course of the 2days I downloaded files worth 55GB. That's pretty impressive for just 1.5k... now that's what I call unlimited. Am currently on their monthly night unlimited plan @5k which gives you unlimited data from 10pm to 6am for 30days. ![]() I've not used swift since they aren't in my location but a friend of mine over in Lagos has testified that their midnight free browsing is uncapped.

CsRockefeller:Ntel is for only LTE (4G) devices. So don't even bother buying the sim because it won't work on a 3G device. |
CsRockefeller:Yes you can get their SIM at any of their nearest outlet close to you, in some areas it is free provided you activate a plan. Just make sure your MIFI is a 4G one that supports their 900/1800 Mhz frequency bands. |
kestine:Nice! I need to buy smart TV before I join Netflix. next year things! |
Fayulas:U r welcome. ![]() |
Fayulas:Yes they do! On Mondays - Fridays they open from 8am-6pm. But on Saturdays it's from 8am-5pm. |
kestine:I swear that 17500 plan solid wella. My friend them sub am for their house and e dey serve them like say tomorrow no dey. Well right now I dey on budget. Once I pin I go reason that plan. Howfar you subscribe on Netflix? |

After hearing so much good reviews on Swift's Unlimited data plans and mad download speeds I decided to get myself a swift MIFI or SIM but I was pretty disappointed to find out Swift is only in Lagos and not in Port Harcourt so I decided to try out Ntel. It was a gamble as most reviews of their services were quite negative. So I went the first day to to their closest outlet to get the sim but was told that their network was down so they couldn't register any SIM at the moment. Had to go the next day and got the SIM for free and activated their cheapest data plan... The 1.5k for 2days unlimited plan (U-Daily plan), I got a mail immediately that the plan had been activated. I waited until later that night to insert the sim and the network was fluctuating so I had to go into my android secret settings and set the network mode to 'LTE Only' and I immediately had a full bar coverage. Download Speed: Well to be honest their networks speed was nothing impressive... I was getting around 500kb/s to 750kb/s on my downloads and nothing more, on rare occasions it would spike to 1mb/s for like a minute before falling back to the usual. While on my MTN 3G I get around 1mb/s and on Airtel 4G I get around 7-10mb/s in the night... Compared to those Ntel was pretty much just usable. On my daily commute I visited Rumuola, Rumuigbo (My location), Garrison, UST - Mile3 but I never got an increase in download speed on Ntel, it actually kept decreasing and stayed around 500kb/s to 600kb/s in most of those areas. I honestly don't consider it a result of throttling but just Ntel's current performance. Are their Unlimited plans truly Unlimited? I soon came to believe that their plan is truly unlimited with no datacap whatsoever. In the course of the 2days plan I managed to download things worth 55GB on the 1.5k plan. Pretty impressive if you asked me. Compared to Smiles datacapped Unlimited plans I was pretty much swayed by Ntel. My plan just ended and I think I'll switch to their unlimited night classic plan which gives you unlimited data from 10pm to 6am for 30days @5k. It is the most convenient for me as most of my downloads are done in the night and I have a cheap MTN plan for my daily usage. The only downside is the average download speeds but other than that... And the fact that their self portals (Web and Android app) are down, I think Ntel is pretty good over here in Port Harcourt.
