I love the idea that the community contributed or donated for his campaign. Now this initiative of donating and contribution towards a particular goal, the people should also do it for projects in the community apart from waiting for the government to do something the community. so as a group like a family can contribute to towards a company or tractors for farmland hospitals schools or business in general that can actually help the committee and also the people in the community themself they can also sell the goods that is produced in that community to other communities or other States with the aid of the government. |

My sincere advice for you, because I've been in that shoe, is to know the person of Jesus.. Understand what I mean, I didn't say go and seek spiritual help I mean pray daily, ask Jesus that you need to know him more, let Him reveal himself to you. Read the bible daily... From the new testament, that is start from Matthew down to revelation, maybe one chapter daily Don't pray against that spirit yet It's your knowledge of Jesus that will illuminate your heart, body and spirit You can also add other gospel literatures Do this for six months. The appetite of Lust will die and you will have a sense of direction. You will know the person of Jesus who will then lead you to your spouse... You will have peace beyond human understanding |

Nigeria is a country with a rich cultural heritage, boasting over 250 languages spoken across its vast territories. However, a common phenomenon has been observed, where many Nigerians refer to the country's linguistic landscape as being dominated by just three main languages: Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo. This notion has been perpetuated by various factors, including education, media, and even government policies. But what are the effects and dangers of this "three main language syndrome," and why is it essential to recognize and celebrate the country's linguistic diversity? *The Effects of the Three Main Language Syndrome* 1. *Marginalization of minority languages*: By emphasizing the dominance of just three languages, the over 247 other languages spoken in Nigeria are marginalized and relegated to the background. This can lead to a loss of cultural identity and a decline in the use of these languages, ultimately threatening their survival. 2. *Limited representation and opportunities*: The focus on Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo can limit representation and opportunities for speakers of other languages. For instance, in education, media, and government, the dominance of these three languages can create a barrier for individuals who speak other languages, making it difficult for them to access information, services, and opportunities. 3. *Cultural homogenization*: The emphasis on a single linguistic narrative can lead to cultural homogenization, where the unique cultural practices and traditions associated with other languages are erased or suppressed. This can result in a loss of cultural diversity and a diminished sense of national identity. 4. *Language extinction*: The neglect of minority languages can lead to language extinction, as younger generations may be less likely to learn and use their ancestral languages. This can have severe consequences for the cultural heritage and identity of the communities that speak these languages. *The Dangers of the Three Main Language Syndrome* 1. *Social exclusion*: The dominance of Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo can create social exclusion, where individuals who speak other languages feel marginalized and excluded from mainstream society. 2. *Limited access to information*: The focus on a single linguistic narrative can limit access to information, as many Nigerians may not have the opportunity to access information in their native languages. 3. *Conflict and tension*: The marginalization of minority languages can lead to conflict and tension, as communities may feel that their linguistic and cultural rights are being ignored or suppressed. 4. *National disunity*: The emphasis on a single linguistic narrative can create national disunity, as different linguistic groups may feel that their interests and identities are not being represented or recognized. *A New Perspective: Recognizing Linguistic Diversity* Rather than perpetuating the notion of three main languages, it is essential to recognize and celebrate Nigeria's linguistic diversity. By acknowledging the complexity and richness of the country's linguistic landscape, we can: 1. *Promote linguistic inclusivity*: Recognize the importance of all languages spoken in Nigeria, regardless of their size or influence. 2. *Foster cultural diversity*: Celebrate the unique cultural practices and traditions associated with each language, promoting a more diverse and inclusive national identity. 3. *Support language development*: Provide resources and support for the development of all languages, including minority languages, to ensure their survival and continued use. 4. *Encourage language education*: Promote language education and literacy programs that recognize the importance of linguistic diversity and provide opportunities for individuals to learn and use their native languages. In conclusion, the three main language syndrome is a threat to Nigeria's linguistic diversity, marginalizing minority languages and limiting representation and opportunities for their speakers. By recognizing and celebrating the country's linguistic diversity, we can promote linguistic inclusivity, foster cultural diversity, support language development, and encourage language education. It is time to move beyond the notion of three main languages and embrace the richness and complexity of Nigeria's linguistic landscape. |
If I say I'm happy with this, am lying... It's the same borrowing Buhari did. We, Nigerians, will pay for these loans whether we like it or not.... All the VAT from bank transfers, VAT on beverages and so on it not even enough to pay off the previous loan We as Nigerians can provide that 1.5billion dollars in a year with all the VAT collected from us.... Some one was saying some time ago that if a business is failing the cut away some non essential staff and the rest take up more responsibility, this should be the case of Nigeria, cut down cost increase production make profit.... Well he's our leader there's nothing we can do for now other than to rant, maybe he sees some possibilities we can't.... What's the definition of madness again, I mean no insult |
