Last week WhatsApp turned seven years old. They have hence announced that by the end of the year, they will be ending support for WhatsApp Messenger on the following mobile platforms:

BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10
Nokia S40
Nokia Symbian S60
Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
Windows Phone 7.1
iPhone 3GS/iOS 6
Because they don't offer the kind of capabilities they need to expand their app's features in the future. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, they recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.

So Blackberry users, enjoy whatsaap while it last.

I am currently in 300l in one of the state universities, though I applied for computer science, and was given mathematics, I Will be graduating next year and I still can't figure out where in the society mathematics majored apart from teaching. Though they say it's vast but considering the rate of unemployment in this country one has got to ponder

Having a math degree gives you a lot more opportunities than people realize. As for which jobs are available, that might depend on what area of math you get your degree(s) in. There's statistics, actuary/business math, operations research, engineering/optimization, number theory, etc.
There are a number of jobs you can use a mathematics degree for other than Teaching, you can become an actuary (potentially high salary, primarily in insurance, some consulting), supply chain management (modeling).

If you want to be your "own boss" right out of university you are going to have to have an entrepreneurial attitude, where you can start your own business (up to you what you want to do) or work in a position like financial advisor where you can make as much as you want, depending on how hard you want to work and how well you handle rejection.

If you find a career path that sounds interesting to you, don't hesitate to ask a company in that industry if you can meet with someone in that position so you can learn more about that career path

Right now, focus on getting your degree first, I'm sure the holy spirit has something in store for you

Someone suggested cyber cafe and you think a graduate is bigger than a cyber cafe.
What makes you a graduate is how you apply your knowledge and turn the cyber cafe around into something unique. A well organized cyber cafe gives you opportunity to do many computer works. That's being creative. The only problem I see in it is the unstable electricity issues
If you are waiting to work for Facebook or Google because you spent 4 years in a Nigerian University where your computer science lecturer probable didn't know half of what Computer science is, then you are going to be searching for jobs for the next 10 years.

Believe whatever you want, but if you ask me 100 times, my answer remains the same. A Computer science graduate is too big to be an employee of a Nigerian cyber cafe! I repeat Someone who spent 5 good years in the university is too big to be a computer operator in a cyber cafe!!! come on, how much can they pay him?

Speak with a customer care agent about it, or buy a data plan (daily, weekly or monthly) after its exhausted, you will be asked to confirm if you want to browse with your credit or not. It will automatically stop.

well, connecting to web vial usb modem can be very exciting when the mobile network provider has a very good network speed. In the area where I'm at right now, glo network speed is mind blowing. I peaked 3.6MB/sec when downloading online files. I haven't achieved such download speed on most wifi network that I have connected to over the years. Wifi network is just as good, but most of the time, the information you send over a wifi isn't secure even if it has a good transfer speed to offer especially a free public wifi.

I guess I'll never know why it's a Nigerian mentality to equate Eloquence in English language to the skills a person has to offer. English-speaking is just a means of communication, it is what he has to offer that matters. So many Chinese don't even understand English, but that doesn't stop them from taking and executing a good contract.

From experience, i discovered that connecting to the web with Wi-Fi is faster and reliable than when using a internet modem. Ideally, i think the internet modem should be faster because it has only one function unlike mobile devices that still needs to power background apps that use data. What's the reason for this or do you have a different experience? Let's discuss

your question is vague. Are you talking about sharing your mobile internet access over wifi Hotspot Vs inserting th sim directly into a modem? Or a real Wi-Fi network? if the former is what you mean, then it just depend on how much network signal your modem can harness compared to the mobile phone.
