Has anyone noticed that glo data now finish faster than before? I subscribed to a 1000 naira for 2GB data plan yesterday and I got a message from glo that I have exhausted my data volume this morning. This seems to be the trend after glo increased their data volume.

The level of fraud and scam being perpetuated by these telecom companies got to stop and i just wonder what our so called NCC is doing about it. This afternoon, i received a call from Airtel, one of their advert calls which I av gotten very tired of. I picked it up and decided to listen to what it had to say. It was about loan recharge & i just ignored it. Few hours later, i got a message from d line saying av been credit with #500. I was surprised cos i didn't request for it. I instantly called the customer line to reverse the recharge as am not in need of it. It was removed & i thought that was all until i got another sms saying I still owe Airtel #50. I called d care line again & i was shocked to hear that Airtel could choose to recharge a line & whether i like it or not, I have to pay d commission. Now while ds is just #50, am quite sure they do this a lot and this is fraud and scam of the highest order & wish i cud punish them for it.

Lol... that's just typical of them. I don't usually pick their numbers, you know those like 3356, 6523 etc. so on this faithful day, I received a call from a normal number and didn't know it was them. When I picked the call and started hearing the jargons about some caller tune, I disconnected the call immediately only to receive an sms few seconds later saying 100 has been deducted for caller tune. what the F?
so my friend, you will pay that 50. it's a legal scam from them, sorry

Besides you don't even have to look for job. if you can put the skills you have acquired into practice and become a freelance Web designer, software programing, you can earn a living for yourself until big deals start coming your way. wish you goodluck

you can take it to a computer expert for clean re-Installation. Since they will be doing that without a password, there is a high probability that you won't get a backup of any of your files.

Don't download a spyware into ur phone in the name of browsing at free cost, it's not worth it. Data has become cheap these days.

To do anything on Google playstore requires a very strong/Stable network connection, like 3G+. Make sure that's not the issue. you can also try apps like Mobilemarket as a substitute for playstore

And so i recharged #500 last wednesday with the hope of subscribing for the mtn weekly 750mb plan. All my thought was that after subscribing, i would be given double of the data making it 1.5gb cause since last month, have been getting twice of my subscription. Mean that am on mtn beta talk too, i would get #1000 as bonus.
I did the subscription, and decided to check my data balance and to my utmost surprise, i saw 150mb, and 150mb extra data making total data 300mb. I called their customer care center and they were telling me all kindof stories that they will forward it to the appropriate dept. For further processing, that i should call back within 24hrs. The same thing they were all saying after the whole of 24hrs elapsed.

I initially continue using the data with the hope that the remaing data would be restored, then i noticed that the 1000 bonus has gone and they've started deducting from the main data

The long, short, slim and the roburst of it is that my remaining data wasnt restored. I guess this is my first time of falling a scam to mtn data ish. Has anyone also experienced this?

Nope I havn't, But don't give up just yet. continue spamming their CC agents until they resolve ur issue

It's for 2G devices. It won't work on devices with 3G. I subscribed for it and I could nt browse until I called their customer service unit. I was informed that it's meant to work on 2G devices.

It should work if you step down your network to 2G
