European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Southampton Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 8th December 2014 by davida222(m): 9:55pm On Dec 08, 2014
We literally created ONE CHANCE
the whole of that first half and that
chance was in the 45th minute.
And guess who created it? Ander
Herrera, the man we left on the
bench for a midfield of you know,
Fellaini and Carrick. and a 3-man
defense. Because our 3 man defense worked so well against
Arsenal, Swansea, Sunderland Burnley.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Southampton Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 8th December 2014 by davida222(m): 9:43pm On Dec 08, 2014
This has to be one of the worst
halfs of football united have played
this season. Getting completely out
fought, Felliani is back to his awful
worst, young is shocking as well. I
just look peep out through my fingers when I see Evans attempting to defend, he is by far the worst defender at the club. Why take mc nair off for Herrera and waste a sub? Baffling sometimes what goes on.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 6:32pm On Nov 29, 2014
Shame Falcao didn’t Finnish his
chance but he looked sharp having
had so many injuries. He hasn’t lost
that quickness over the first 10-15
yards as seen by the ground he made up after laying that pass of to mata. Herrera makes our all round game flow better with his quick passes. Mata looked good and Rojo had a nice easy game back after injury
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 6:28pm On Nov 29, 2014
Assured performance in the end. Best performers were Carrick, Smalling and Herrera in that order. Stoke will be a lot tougher on Tuesday and I expect us to pick up the intensity in our game. Hope Rooney and Di Maria have only picked up minor knocks and nothing more. We need di maria’s speed and directness in games going forward because outside of him we have no speed at all in the side and against better teams it’ll be difficult for us to break them down. But we’ve won again and right now, that’s basically what matters. Just keep racking up the three points boys.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 5:28pm On Nov 29, 2014
Its just a matter of keeping fit now..
Rooney on fire.. Persie getting his
mojo back.. Falcao should start
kicking in.. Wilson pushing on..
Mata playing well.. Di Maria world
class.. All midfielders are looking
good.. Defenders will hopefully
reach the top level and keeper is
already world class!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 5:02pm On Nov 29, 2014
When was the last time United
played well under high pressure?
We are composed and precise.
Perhaps Hull is the biggest culprit
here, but coming December we
are getting more confident in our
passing and distribution. Players
understand where their compatriots are on the field. It’s
darn encouraging considering we
have been plagued with injuries
(40ish since the start of the season
according to the commentator)
and forced us to play with different
11 and the back four.
Very encouraging indeed
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 5:01pm On Nov 29, 2014
i wouldn’t throw falcao on just yet.
put him in the 70th and let him get
20 minutes or so. Let him ease his
way back into match fitness and
not risk anything
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 4:57pm On Nov 29, 2014
Smalling looks like a different
player since the red card. He’s
looks like the dominant CB we
need. No longer ball watching he’s
finally taking charge around the
box.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 4:56pm On Nov 29, 2014
Carrick easily our best player in
that first half. Always looking for
the forward pass and looking to
make things happen when he got
on the ball. Brilliant first half from
him. We could have had two more goals if our players had taken shots
instead of passing backwards in
acres of space.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 4:54pm On Nov 29, 2014
I’ve always said…watch it when we
play HERRERA and MATA, We pass the ball short, simple, and BREAK teams down! It is the INTANGIBLEs!!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 4:40pm On Nov 29, 2014
Too many Square balls and back
passes. Need more incisive passing. Only Carrick is making effort to look for the forward pass so far.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 4:18pm On Nov 29, 2014

United to win 3-1.
Valencia makes his 200th
appearance today
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 3:55pm On Nov 29, 2014
De Gea, Smalling, Carrick, Rojo,
Valencia, Fellaini, Mata, Di Maria,
Young, Rooney, van Persie.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Hull City (3 - 0) On 29th November 2014 by davida222(m): 3:54pm On Nov 29, 2014
LVG seems to be breaking his vow and RVP actually is untouchable…and very offensive line up, if you ask me. I just hope it turns out to be a dominant win, not a Leicester replay.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 8:49pm On Nov 22, 2014
What is with players trying to
dink the ball over keepers these
days? What happened to the good
old tried and tested rounding the
keeper and stroking it into the net?
Di Maria....
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 8:42pm On Nov 22, 2014
I wonder what excuse LVG will use
to start Van Persie again. It is now
past embarrassing. Ugly performance, good win. Rooney
and Di Maria worked their socks off
when we were pinned back. MOTM
for me is DDG, best goalkeeper in
the league, forever playing in front
of a weak defence. Shout out to
Smalling, showed us he has the
steel to recover from mental lapses…way better than Jones in
my opinion.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 8:35pm On Nov 22, 2014
Di Maria should have scored but
Bleep it, he played the ball to
Rooney for what turned out to be
the winner so I won’t complain.
Great goal from Giroud but
Arsenal showing their colours at
the end again, fucking cheating
cunts, kicking out, pissing and
moaning at the ref about how long
its taking us to throw in the ball etc.
Great win from us considering
we’re deficient of some of our best
players at the moment, and we
absorbed everything they threw at
us for NINETY FIVE minutes, and
scored twice in that time frame.
Deserved winners, even though
Wenger will moan as he always
does!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 8:33pm On Nov 22, 2014
This is the most ridiculous game I
have ever watched in my life. Our
worst performance of the season
BY MILES and somehow, we’ve
won the bleeping game at the
Emirates.
Very very disappointed with our
performance but I am elated with
the win. Desperately need to
improve on that terrible
performance. Christ Almighty we
were bad.
Falcao or Wilson need to START
games from now on. Van Persie
does not deserve to be starting
games.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 8:32pm On Nov 22, 2014
We don’t half make things difficult
for ourselves!!!! But Football bloody hell –
what a good win.
David De Gea – you little beauty.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 8:29pm On Nov 22, 2014
I have to say Blackett and McNair
look the real deal. Our link
between defense and attack (read:
Carrick, Fellani) has been shit, but
the defense has done well I think.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 8:04pm On Nov 22, 2014
My God. Van Persie is the LAST
person you want on the filed in
this situation. He is not interested
in doing ANYTHING ELSE but call
for the ball. He’s the slowest
footballer on the pitch. Take him
off and put some speed or
composure on Wilson, Herrera, are
options.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:57pm On Nov 22, 2014
We are yet to have ONE shot on
target. Please Van Gaal make a
fucking substitution for God’s sake.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:46pm On Nov 22, 2014
Haha! What a shit goal! Sums up
this game. I’ll take it though!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:40pm On Nov 22, 2014
This would have been a good
game for Mata and Herrera,
Arsenal don’t exactly have power
house midfielders who could bully
them and the added passing
ability/faster Herrera would help
when we counter. Still not sold on
Fellaini, don’t think I ever will be
with him as CDM. Too slow and
doesn’t look like he wins many
aerial duels which just baffles me.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:31pm On Nov 22, 2014
Two terrible teams and I’ll let you
decide who’s the least
terrible…..it’s like I said to anyone
who asked for a prediction on this
game – who ever is the least shit
should win. It will be a miracle if
we keep a clean sheet. We’ve
obviously been working on
organised chaos all week.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:31pm On Nov 22, 2014
Blind is a major loss linking up
defense and midfield. Carrick and
Fellaini don’t have the skill or the
balls to receive a ball under
pressure and turn.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:19pm On Nov 22, 2014
Our back 3 is actually doing ok but
neither Carrick or Fellaini are good
enough to receive the ball from
them which puts us under
constant pressure.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:16pm On Nov 22, 2014
Why will we go back to a system
that gave us 2 draws and 2 losses?
Besides, Carrick and Fellaini have
never even tried it preseason or
early season!!! We can’t all be
wrong. Managers are over-rated.
They just try to complicate simple
things
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester United (1 - 2) On 22nd November 2014 by davida222(m): 7:02pm On Nov 22, 2014
This is disgraceful from Van Gaal…
The setup is all wrong.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Everton (2 - 1) On 5th October 2014 by davida222(m): 2:10pm On Oct 05, 2014
De Gea u genius what a performance.Okay 3 in a row
momentum is building but we have a long long long way to go.Next few
fixtures all hard.Should have some
players back if we don’t lose any at
the Internationals. I just don’t understand why we can’t put games to bed that one should
have been done and dusted but hey
it’s a win.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Everton (2 - 1) On 5th October 2014 by davida222(m): 2:09pm On Oct 05, 2014
United never make it easy on the fans do they. Bleep me. My nerves were absolutely destroyed that last 10 minutes. What more needs to be said about De Gea. Thank goodness we put our faith in him when the media wrote him off. Absolute gem of a game today. We must learn to close out games better but this is a good sign. Winning games that we could have easily lost with some very vital players missing.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!!
