Decent performance, great to start the season with another win after the Community Shield. Got high hopes for this season, Pogba still to come as well! GGMU.

Another match, another useless Rooney performance. Mata coming in from the right doing so much more than what Rooney is offering. What can we do to see Mkhitaryan come in for Rooney?

out of possession the midfield is nowhere to be seen.have to say, im surprised by mourinho on this one. his midfields are usually brutal and always make their mark on a match.

Rooney should have gone when Fergie said he should have gone. He's a weight around the neck of future expectation. He will have his moments, but really, when we start with him we are basically a ten man team in terms of contribution. Generally, Charity Shields have no bearing on the upcoming season. Glad we won but I hope we rid ourselves of the LVG philosophy of sideways passing and dull matches.

I'd say though, it's a lethargic performance. It's normal considering they transition from LVG to Jose, and that 3 season long toxics will never be easy to cure. But at least what Jose can do is to start with a proper line-up. This isn't it. He needs to start realizing that Rooney should never be un the first 11 and nor is Fellaini.

People may not like Valencia, you can't deny -however- he is someone that you can always count on. Giving 110% whenever he is deployed. He never complains, he sacked his agent, he does not care about his brand, he loves the club and that the result of it, great pass to Ibrahimovich. BUt he's been doing that all game long.

I wonder what as trending in the Nigerian polity when the legend Fela composed ‘authority stealing’ and ‘suffering and smiling’; whatever he saw must be a taste of what we are presently experiencing in this nation today. The health sector is in chaos, education is in total disarray, strike (sit down or stand up) is the order of the day in almost every other sector; unemployment shows no sign of abating, the few social amenities are fast deteriorating; just to highlight some of the disheartening events shaping the country. How do Nigerians respond? The literate and civil servants buy newspapers, gather in group at work or pleasure to ‘discuss’ it. I wonder if their endless discussions and chattering can ever bring any change. The illiterates or less educated also make it in their past time after gathering nugget of information to ‘discuss’; a nauseating trend the youths also imbibed. The youths: Graduates, undergraduates, employed, unemployed or underemployed also have their ‘meeting’ on social media to ‘discuss’ happenings in the nation! They write posts on the media where they create increasing debates, their trophy? Likes, dislikes, applause or serious bashing from their fellows with no change ever happening. Nigerians, is this the best we can do? Discuss? The working class are complaining that the minimum wage is ridiculously insufficient to tackle the increasing debt load and we keep reading about the outrageous amount our so called leaders are collecting, sharing, looting, embezzling and all we can do is observe and discuss? Power since we know it has been rotating between a class of people, from father to children and in-laws. Father, first a governor, then a senator; wife, now a member of the house of representatives; their sons, daughters and in-laws, members of the houses of assembly, ministers, commissioners, year in year out and all Nigerians do is discuss? Gone are the days when musicians and OAPs give their voice to help ameliorate and alleviate the egregious suffering in the nation, they’ve all been bought over; they are also contesting in various political seats! Fela will weep for this crop of musicians, Gbenga Adeboye will lament on this set of OAPs! Journalism of fire! We have to rely on cable televisions before we can get a true picture of whatever rubbish our politicians are cooking because our local televisions have all been bought and they’ve flipped! Those saddled with the responsibility of painting the true picture of the truth at different perspectives, even though hungry are picking sides with who and who not to support, feeding us with craps! Politicians of this present era under whatever political party are the enemy of Nigerians; do we need a seer to tell us? They only fight for their pockets and unborn generations using whatever means while Nigerians pick side and fight each other. A silly pot calling a silly kettle black; we sit and watch them make silly comments, statements and debates every day and we all get excited. Guess what? We’ve tried ‘observe n discuss’, it is obviously not working. An end must come to this cycle and hierarchy of politicians. Since independence, ‘elder statemen’ have been dictating who can and who should be in power, else, themselves. Their protégé have now also taken over, rotating office between senate, the various houses, governorship and every political seat available tenure in and out. Are there no other and better Nigerians who can make something more meaningful out of governance than these who have turned it into their family inheritance? Power must change hands! A total over hauling of these failed ‘elder statemen’ and their protégé must take place before this putrefying sore that has eaten deep into every sector of the nation can be healed. Enough is enough of all these discussions and bashing each other, let us all face our real enemies – these Nigerian circus of non – retiring politicians who don’t know when to call it quits by finding a way to upset their governance and dominance. Hence, there is no hope

It was mystery when Maria Cardenas noticed
that her Virgin Mary statue of 10 years
started crying all of a sudden.
According to The Mirror, Cardenas said the
strange occurrence started when her cousin,
Jessie Lopez, was murdered about 18 months
ago. Describing the Virgin Mary statue crying
as a miracle, Cardenas said she shares the
tears she collects from the statue with
anyone that visits her.

Like watching a game of bowls. We have 99% of possession…no shots on target. We have no clue as to how to break a team down and create chances.

some important points..Wayne Rooney
is done as a forward. I dunno what it’s
going to take for LVG to just accept
it.
Secondly the future is very bright for Jesse Lingard and Andreas Perreira. I prefer the former though. Finally, United made a fantastic final signing in martial but a horrible first and probably the worst signing of the season in Memphis Depay.Every time he is on the pitch its horrific performance after horrific performance. I didn’t believe he could be any worse than he’s been. But today took it to a whole new low.he couldn’t even pass 3 yards to save his life.given the reports of his lack of discipline I think we should cut out losses with this guy and admit we f’ukd up. He just won’t cut it at this level.

The blame solely lies at VanGaal and his ridiculous selection..Rooney was not needed in this game, as we have been begging for him to be dropped..The number of chances that fell to his front and he simply took the wrong option was baffling..Memphis is probably one of the worst wingers we have ever bought.Did absolutely nothing in the game..He is not even fit to clean Martial’s boots…Ashley Young was also not needed in this game..We have said time and time that the guy is not a left back..Why take a left back off and put a winger in his position…I really can’t blame VanGall for the poor shots taken by our players though..We llacked creativity through the middle and those tasked with playing on the wings did not do a good job..I really have no one to blame but LVG.

That was god awful, the English really are terrible penalty takers. I wish vanvGaal would adapt his “philosophy” and tactics to the players he has instead of trying to force square pegs into round holes, we have no Edgar Davids or Marc Overmaars, the only thing we have is Martial doing his best Kluivert impersonation. Also why sign players with tons of speed if we refuse to go past a brisk walk? That said still eons better than Moyes, but Bleep me, this is frustrating and extremely boring to watch.

There has been no better microcosm of the Louis Van Gaal Era at Manchester United than tonight’s game. 202 million pounds of so called “talent’ took the field for Manchester United tonight and we looked like a team scraping the bottom of the barrel in the championship. A system that kills all attacking invention. Dominated the ball, Bleep all to show for it and now we’re out. The one fucking tournament that I thought we had a slightly realistic chance of winning too. Philosophy.

no hard feelings. i have many things i can criticise LVG for, he has my support but iv said many times, we wont win a trophy under him, if we do il come out and admit to being wrong. the success will come once he goes, not that i want him gone, hes still building for future success – so far hes been doing well with the likes of shaw, martial, pereira etc.
