Guys do u knw why pep is rated so highly cause he goes for control-chaos football. so in the 4-3-3 he used at barca 5 players would be used to control a match, and 5 would be used to cause chaos .. usually like this.. chaos- ctrl – ctrl – chaos ———— ctrl ——- ctrl —- ctrl -chaos – chaos – chaos usually this would mean dani alves, messi, villa, pedro, sanchez, jordia lba etc can express themselves and absolutely blow the opposition away whilst the likes of busquets, iniesta, xavi, pique would control the play and keep the opposition quiet. for us, everyone is controlled. everyone has orders from the coach, everyone has to control passing and it is sooooo boring. effectively making the whole team robots. and as i said before, we could have ronaldo, messi, suarez etc all starting for us, we would still do the same thing cause they HAVE to fit into this philosophy. infact, and im seriously not sticking up for this player, but di maria is the only player under LVG i have seen really express himself and try to cause some kind of chaos .. what happened to him, he got sold within a season and was dropped continuously with the manager stating ‘if a player dosnt buy into the philosophy then he is not needed’ how about look at the players around you, see their qualities and strongest attributes and put them into a system to get the best out of them. its what SAF did |
Mata, Herreira are allowed to have 1 bad game, can Rooney plaese have just one good game. Please. He stinks up the entire joint with his performance. The game in all honesty never had the feel of a serious affair, just felt like the united blackburn affair a few years ago where both teams just needed a draw, united to win and blackburn to survive. A sort of mutual agreement to see out the draw, really disappointing attitude from both sides. |
This game was just a clear display of how far this so called philosophy” has taken us. Pass Pass Pass pass zero killer instinct, zero desire to actually win the game and remember that this was against a Manchester City without their two most dangerous players by far AND we were playing at home. Fucking ridiculous. We have a coach who cares more about how many passes we make than about scoring goals and winning the football match. It’s always one issue to another with Van Gaal. If it’s not playing the wrong formation, it’s playing players out of position, if it’s not that, it’s making terrible starting line-up decisions, if it’s not that, it’s freezing out great players. I’ve had enough. We have spent more than 200 million pounds and we don’t look any better than Sunderland going forward. Ridiculous. |
Played decent but just no killer instinct people are scared to shoot, people are scared to take on their man. The default move with this team is to get the ball and make a backwards or sideways pass. I don’t understand this mentality. Rooney and Mata were terrible and were basically our two worst players on the day. Our defense however was superb all through the game. Valencia, Rojo, Smalling, Schneiderlin and Jones were all very very very good. They looked assured, they looked composed and they looked very very solid. Of our forward players, the only one that looked half dangerous was once again Anthony Martial but he was constantly being doubled up out wide and couldn’t influence the game as much because Rooney were busy being shocking in the middle. As far as our subs, I thought Lingard and Fellaini were good once they came on. Would have liked to see Memphis though and I have a feeling that if not for Valencia’s injury, Memphis might have come on. Overall, it was a pretty boring game and considering City were without Aguero AND Silva, it is quite disappointing that we didn’t win this. |

Its a lesson to van gaal if only he
will learn. Don’t ever play schweinsteiger and Carrick at the
same time against pacey oppositions, they will be exposed
extremely. Carrick if fuckin 34yrs
old for goodness sake, you don’t
expect him to chase Walcott. |
What A Country. |
Thank Christ the season is over. Poor for large stretches but got it together at the perfect time and ended up sealing fourth. Big summer in the offing. A lot of changes are needed. First of all, there needs to be a change in the style of play. We actually need to go back to playing attacking football and not drab, cboring rubbish football. We haven’t played anything remotely attractive in 3 full years. It’s a getting a bit much now. Time to return to playing football. There’s enough game changers in the team but this system has essentially stifled all their ability and productivity and has put them in boxes which is why the attacking production has been pretty low and sub-standard this year. All they need is the leash taken off them so that they can express themselves. If we keep playing this crap, nothing will change. Even if we sign messi. With the likes of Depay and Di Maria, I am hoping that they will be able to play with more freedom next year. Once the style of play changes, then we can begin to add the players. A right back, two top notch centre backs, two midfielders and a fast, potent striker (as it looks like Falcao and RVP will leave and Rooney is shocking more times than not.) If we do not sign at the very minimum two CMs and 2 CBs, then this summer will have been a failure. I am looking forward to seeing who we bring in as that will essentially determine how next season wlll go. As far as this season though. I expected fourth. We got fourth. We are back in Europe. I am happy. |
Anyways glad the season is over. Pathetic performance. I have been one of the biggest defender of LVG and I still feel he will lead us to glory but if we do the same come next season, I will seriosuly start questioning him. |
I wonder what’s worse. David Moyes first season or Liverpool this season. I don’t remember United being battered like this honestly. 45 minutes and already five down. And ex United Diouf doing his thing Hope we get our act together real quick though and play some useful football for the last 45 of the season. |
I’ve said it several times, if United
are to get anywhere near elite level,
a lot of revamp need to be done.
Far too many liabilities. |
considering our other fixtures coming up, this really still is a must win. Hope we continue where we left off. |
De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Blind, Carrick, Herrera, Mata, Fellaini, Young, Rooney. Subs: Valdes, Rafael, McNair, A Pereira, Januzaj, Di Maria, Falcao. |
What does it take for LVG to realize that 352 isn’t going to work. And there is no reason to stay 352. He could have fielded Raphael – Smailing – Jones – Shaw And plenty more reasons we should avoid this now but I’m appalled by his stubbornness. I’m still adamant that the reason for our draw against Spurs was not primarily due to fatigue (yes I do agree it played a part), it was more because he failed to respond to Pochetino’s tactical change on the second half. Here he demonstrated another odd decisions, first by sticking to 352 and the second was by replacing Falcao. Im really curious to find out why, as I think his inetention was to counter attack Stoke by bringing Januzaj, but the pace was significantly brought down by Falcao’s departure. Januzaj, what is exactly going on with you? Overhyped? |
There is something fishy here, How can 2 planes dissapear without. trace,, The Movie Lost Is Becaming real , Maybe there are in a remote iland , |
Superb first half. GOD AWFUL second half. Some of the worst finishing i’ve ever seen in my life. Two points dropped on a day when the teams in and around us are Playing each other and will most likely drop points. Absolutely infuriating. Everyone keeps talking about title challenge. What damn title challenge when we can finish chances in the big games? High time we kept quiet about title challenge and focused on consolidating our position in the top 4. But at least One point is better than none (Judging by that second half, we easily could have lost this game.) Great that Shaw and Rafa are back. Time to END 3-5-2 and go back to 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 against Stoke. |
its a mixture of a few things that lost us 2 points today 1. poor finishing in first half 2. long balls from defence to no one in second half, its like we didnt have a midfield cause they wouldnt pass to them! 3. managerial naivety. why on earth would you pick the same lineup within 43 hours of eachother! and then bring on 3 defenders in the 2nd half when trying to get a goal 4. Lloris doing a great impression of de gea in goal BUT, that referee was biased as fu..k. he didnt do any major decisions against us but every single 50/50 went their way and it completely slowed down our tempo. how does the richest league in the world have such incompetent, unfit referees making desicions each week that is costing teams vital points?! its shocking. and they are the most protected people in football! |
Falcao and RVP…. in the first half, how the Bleep they didn’t put at least one of those chances away I’ll never know. Entire team went to shit in the second half. Another wasted two points IMO! |
The performance has been a lot better last 2 games. No surprise it’s coincided with Carrick being brought into midfield and Falcao being moved forward. But we really have to start taking these chances. We’re keeping Spurs in the game when we should be out of sight. |
...........De Gea........, Jones...McNair......Evans, Valencia, ................Young Carrick......Rooney, ......Mata, ............van Persie....Falcao. |
no DiMaria and NO Januzaj on the bench. Our bench is a bit of a worry. But I guess it’s Pereiras time to show wht he got if he gets the nod. |
bamog:Absolutely America is. I think most western nations fear China too China is growing larger both militarily and economically because of a system created by the the US and other western countries. China also isn't a democracy in the way that most western countries would like. It also has nuclear weapons and most industrial powers are economically dependent upon them. And don't forget that china holds a huge amount of US debt and it keeps taking on more and more US debt (amongst other country's debts). America can't simply attack as this would cripple the US economy and cause countless deaths on both sides. China could even launch their nuclear weapons. All the US can do is integrate them into the system more and more and make them become dependent on the US and other nations as much as possible. |
Nigerians... SMH!!!!! |
I’m also not sure why he switched Ashley Young over when Young was eating Lowton for lunch all afternoon. And you don’t take an in form Van Persie off and leave THREE defenders on the fucking pitch when you’re in need of a goal. If Van Persie was off form then yeah you might have taken him off but he’s scored 3 in his last 2. You leave him on the pitch when you need a goal. Mata was completely anonymous again today. He’s literally stuck in only one gear. Tired of this. He should have been the one taken off for Di Maria. Not Van Persie. Not sure what Van Gaal’s philosophy” is all about to be honest. Negative, boring, monotonous lucky football? So disappointing. We should be playing much better than this given all the money we’ve spent. |
i still dont fucking understand why young ( who was tearin apart lowton on the left) was moved to the right. it just doesnt make sense. that is one of the main reasons why we bloody couldnt score. we stopped creating afterwards . it was a senseless move. di maria hasnt played on the left for 5 fucking years. he plays on the right for real and then moved central last year shocking tactical moves |
Young is nowhere near as effective on the right as he is on the left Ironically if it stayed 11 v 11 I think we’d have won the game, up to that point we were by far the better side in the second half. Not that Villa got much better after it but the atmosphere turned toxic and I think the abuse Young was getting was clearly affecting him too. |
Another disappointing performance yet again with this useless 3-5-2. Villa were down to 10 men for 25 mins and yet we continued to play 3 men at the back. After taking the lead you would expect that we would kick on but instead our THREE DEFENDERS were passing the ball at the back like we were up 3-1. A game we should have won, we have ended up drawing. These are the most frustrating of games to lose points in. |
The lowest shot attempts at Manchester United in 11 years of recording. Only 6% of our play was in the opposition half. If we were any worse, we might have been Derby County. It is impossible to keep playing like this and not get punished for it eventually. Yeah it’s great to win but we can’t keep playing like this. We’ve spent far too much money and invested too much in Van Gaal. Honeymoon is over. No more “philosophy”. Pick the right players. Play the right formation from the start. Time to start performing. |
Make no mistake we were fucking SHITE in this game just like against Arsenal but we’ve won so i’ll take the 3 points but we HAVE to improve going forward. We cannot continue to play like this. It’s mind- numbing. Liverpool for all the shite they’ve been playing are pretty good upfront and will punish us if we play this garbage against them. I criticized Van Persie because he was rightfully awful for most of the season but boy am I thankful for for his performance tonight. By far his best performance since his first season for us. I would love more than anything for him to be rounding into form. About fucking time Robin. Welcome back. Ashley Young, Herrera and De Gea were the only other people who weren’t complete shit. That’s where the pleasantries end. EVERYONE ELSE was terrible. Especially Fellaini. Let me repeat this again. Fellaini is no better than a substitute for this club. He’s only in this side because we literally have no one else to put there. In January or the summer we have to dip into our pockets and find a strong midfielder befitting of Manchester United. Evans was complete garbage but i’ll chalk that up to lack of first team action, Rojo was terrible for most of it too. We also need to get our full backs fit again. Tired of seeing back passes. I need full backs willing to attack. Rafael and Shaw cannot return soon enough. The 3-5-2 formation was also fucking awful. Time to ditch this useless formation forever. Awful performance but we’ve got 3 points. The philosophy” LVG keeps banging on about is a massive dose of luck. There’s nothing different in terms of our actual style of play from last season. I really thought we were going to get better performance wise but we have not. |
De Gea – 7 McNair – 4 Smalling – 5 Rojo – 4 Valencia – 4 Carrick – 5 Fellaini – 4 Young – 6 Mata – 4 Rooney – 4 van Persie – 7 Subs: Evans – 4 Herrera – 5 Fletcher – 5 ———————————————— ———————————————— ——————————————— 1 = Diabolical 2 = Awful 3 = Very Poor 4 = Poor 5 = Average 6 = Good 7 = Very good 8 = Great 9 = Superb 10 = World Class |
WE’VE STARTED SITTING BACK AGAIN FOR Bleep’S SAKE. Switch back to a 4 man defense and KILL THIS FUCKING GAME OFF. |
If we want to stand any chance of winning this game what we need to do is right in front of us. Get back to 4 men in defense, Make herrera a midfielder and move Mata up the pitch, Get Wilson/Falcao on and try and fucking attack for once. |
dem no fit do dat to china! Nah trouble be dat! U.S fear china lyk mad!
