Now let me tell you, in place of Obaseki it would have been an Esan man as Governor, that was Oshiomhole plan and it was when Ize-iyamu found out then, that's why he decamped to PDP... Oshiomhole was already grooming Peter Esele to takeover from him.

Then boom, something happened, during goodluck as president and prior to 2015 election, Abuja tried to impeached Oshiomhole (spearheaded by Anenih, an Esan man) so that PDP will take over Edo State and easily win the state for Goodluck.

When the fighting was ongoing, our people, basically because of our hate for Oshiomhole and our love for Anenih joined Anenih and Abuja to make impeaching Oshiomhole a reality.

But what did the binis do? They (spearheaded by Capt Hosa, even though Hosa and Oshiomhole were quarrelling then because of airport road Oshiomhole paid Capt and Capt did do) supported Oshiomhole and fought tooth and nail to make sure he wasn't impeached (even the late Oba supported Oshiomhole during the impeachment battle).

When the battle was ongoing, all the traditional rulers in Edo South met Oshiomhole at the government house in a secret meeting, sent by the late Oba and told him that for them to continue to support him during the battle, after his tenure he must bring out a bini man. And this how how esan lost out and Oshiomhole came up with Obaseki. So, if you were in Oshiomhole shoes what would you have done?

You see we Esans? We play bad politics like the ibos, we always put all our eggs in one basket, that's why igbo hasn't produced a president and Esan hasn't produced a Governor.

I cracked my head to think of any and I actually got to remember one. I was in 200L second semester and my ex broke up with me, there was a guy in my class that used to look at me in a lovely manner and I never gave him audience each time he tried speaking to me. Last , last I gave him the audience few months after my break up. We got dating for like a week and this my colleague started asking me to visit him at his cousin’s. He claimed her house was very comfortable and spacious plus she was out of town. He said we could go to a corner and do it......I was dumbfounded and angry. I told him to escort me to my hostel that I want to go make a hot tea and he did . We don’t allow male visitors into my school hostel.
Later that night, he called me during the night call and we spoke. I wanted to know how sensible and decent he can be cos I cannot date who I can’t marry (all these while he agreed to my 1 month dating probation). I asked him that if I had agreed to have sex with him and I got pregnant what will we do about it, I made it clear that I don’t support abortion. He said we will keep it. I was like but we are both students and incapable of raising a child and he said he will tell his mum, that he is even the only child and his mum would be happy to take me in
