YoungLionken: This so called "Mr P" seems to have a strong heart. He's just like someone I used to know then, with a strong (terrible/unforgiving) heart like zuma rock, kokoko..
Sometimes, when you hear words like "I have a wealthy uncle/aunty/relative, but he/she is unwilling to help.." It is because of the unnecessary squabbles through heartlessness their parents constantly displayed with other family members (or even friends) while they were yet unborn or very tender to understand anything..
I just wished such people don't end up regretting their decisions, borne out of bitterness, later in life... We now understand why Jeremiah 31:29 refers to children experiencing hurtful tooth, not from.they had eaten but from what their parents had eaten.. |

I pray that someone very high up from the Presidency steps in as her unofficial sponsor and makes it clear (quietly) to every Nigerian official that anyone who sabotages her at any international event where she represents Nigeria will come home to find EFCC waiting to search their accounts.
This would be a cheap win for Tinubu if Seyi Tinubu personally steps in for her and every other athlete. Besides, Seyi isn't that smart |

naptu2: Portable record player
This was a small record player that could be plugged in to mains electricity and could also be powered by batteries.
It also had a radio tuner with MW and SW bands and it had a telescopic antenna.
We would sometimes bring this record player outside when we had picnics. I remember that we also used it during the 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1981 New Year's Eve celebrations.
The Indians, Americans and Ghanaians would come over and we'd have a huge feast on the lawn. Jollof rice, curry rice, meat pies and sausage rolls. We'd bring out the portable record player. There'd also be fireworks (7 colours, etc). The feast would go on till around 10pm.
I remember that the NTA had a tradition of showing the Scarlet Pimpernel movie at night on New Year's Eve.
My dad had a joke he played on us (back in the 1970s), he would say that anyone that didn't have his bath before midnight would be dirty throughout the year.
The fire brigade was always way too early. Sometimes they'd be 5 or even 10 minutes too early. We'd hear the siren wail from the fire house at around 11:55.
The harbour master was always more reliable. On the stroke of midnight you would hear a massive foghorn - BOOO, followed by all the other foghorns. Then the fireworks would light up the night sky all the way from Marina to Falomo. The Lagos Yacht Club fired red stars into the sky from Five Cowrie Creek and the Lagos Harbour.
Then I would go in to watch President Shagari's speech. The NTA showed the President's new year speech at midnight (and then repeated it in the morning).
During the Military Era the new year speech was the same as the budget speech. There was no National Assembly to review the budget, so the president usually read the budget speech in the morning on New Year's Day. For that reason, the budget speech and the new year speech became intertwined in my mind.
This is not the exact same record player but it is very similar. The radio tuner was where you have the silver strip in the photo below and there was a telescopic antenna at the side of the device. I'm teary-eyed right now. If our parents knew we would never have half the kind of life they had in Nigeria then, they'd have taken us far away from Nigeria |

IAM4BAT4plus4: Never allow your wife have financial freedom!
Never allow your wife have financial freedom!!
Take good care of her and once she demands financial freedom, if you can afford it, do it for her but my guy, start looking for another good woman as this one you have is gone already into the hands of bad society women!
I'm a living example....
People told me but I rebuked all of them calling them names.. Slave masters, wife beaters, irresponsible men and so on!
I empowered my wife with enough support.
Immediately I lost my job. Boom I became everything less to my once supportive and obedient wife! It doesn't stop at that, she went ahead talking all sort of things to my family and her own family and friends too.
Omo she call me lazy man, weak man and all sort!
But I thank God now things are beginning to get better for me but I kept it to myself. She still believes I'm broke. T No long story till I find another true love Chai! U got kids? |

mirrael68: It is easier for a married man to make heaven than for a single or divorced man. This is because marriage will so humble a sincere married man that he will easily carry his cross and follow Jesus everyday even with tears in his eyes and heart until it becomes second nature. You are very correct. God bless you |

Jerchance: Just got served a quit notice to leave where I live: reason is due to inadequate maintenance of the surroundings. Surroundings here is because my wife hung baby clothes on the balcony railings. There has been a soft verbal reminder about two years ago though , and now – quit notice.
When you get married and to a working class or busy woman, and don't have money for domestic staff, this may likely happen to you as home housekeeping won't be the same again like when you are single If there is a tenancy agreement for your tenancy in this apartment, I will advice you look through it thoroughly, especially the clauses that have to do with period of notice. If the period of notice the landlord gave you is less than the period of time to quit in the quit notice, that notice is defective and would not terminate the tenancy. I always advise clients in such situations not to bother until the court date, then the lawyer to the tenant would ask the court to strike out the case against the tenant, due to the inadequacy of the notice. This would teach such landlords a lesson that owning a house no mean say u be God. |

Lukuluku69: According to the Article and other online sources, the windows were slightly wound down and also it was reported that she sedate the child so that she could sleep a bit longer (she going in for 8 hours shift at the Factory) provided her with an hand held fan.
It is just unfortunate that the girl died on this particular occasion( she confessed to have done same before)
It is a sad episode.
May the Good Lord console her and heal her to for I can imagine war going on within her now.
Had she known! For the past months, I have come across a lot of "I can't it without you" cases from women think that's the way to go with disappointed love. Women continue to drag innocent children down this path of foolish vengeance. I would der if this case is one of such. |

Why is he giving the impression that the bullets didn't penetrate him because the holy spirit provided him with spiritual bullet proof? As in how?
Unfortunately, some people have turned the church into a gathering of hypocrites. Instead of him to drop the contact of his babalawo for those interested in purchasing the spiritual bullet proof vest, he is busy giving fake testimony. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
