The minister of Education needs to do something about our education sector.

It's not fair that studying for a Masters degree overseas will trigger brain complications for students.

How do you explain it that a person graduates with a 1st class or 2.1 in Nigeria, gets admitted for a Master's degree overseas, then slumps and dies either while still studying or shortly after studying.

This brings me back to the words of Aunty Rapuokwu, my CRK teacher, after catching me armed with almost half of the new testament hidden in between my armpit for use as "expo" during one of her exams.

Mumu! The consent age for women in the South is 16. For North is 14. Go look up the Criminal and Penal codes. Talking as if 16 or 17 is a crime. It is the Child Rights Act, 2003 that spells 18 years as consent age but that law is a federal law and not a state law, unless the state decides to adopt it as it's law.

About your question, I only came home (quite a distance) from a friend's house, didn't know what was going on and the real reason for the invasive action from the police. I'm pretty sure that I would have as well fled the scene on sighting them too, if I had held exhibits like weed, wrong pictures on my phone, or other illegal substances with me. Or if I had a guilty conscience regarding cultism, armed robbery, kidnapping, fraud, etc, thinking it is a bust. The deceased is a smart and intelligent boy, given his academic prowess and age. He knew something was wrong, as one who knew the game, hence the reason to flee too...

Being academically intelligent doesn't always mean being street smart. Try dey mingle with people and see the difference
